Loyalty To Players

Manager profile screen. Does anyone know 100% for sure what causes this to increase and or decrease. Ive googled and searched for this before but no one had a definitive answer and all those were just guesses.

I believe that this is related to media comments in regards to a red card or a penalty decision. If you say that your team were lucky as your opponents should have had a penalty, your loyalty bar decreases.
