Why does "Quick Sub" not work 90% of the time?

Pretty much every time I perform a quick substitution because someone's been injured, it just goes to the tactic screen anyway where the injured player is still on the pitch. Am I doing something wrong or is it just a rubbish feature?

Also, SI, do you watch real football? The amount of first half substitutions I have to make is way too unrealistic.

That aspect of quick sub doesn't work, as you say. However when I use it to make a regular substitution it's fine.

It's supposed to give you the option to quick sub someone who has a green injury marker, i.e., carrying a knock. However, if the player has to be subbed anyway, yeah, off it goes to the tactics screen. So yes, it's (partly) broken.

I find it fascinating how non-technical issues that come up within the first season of playing have to be reported in the bugs forum. SI staff claims to play and love the game, there is QA and then there are beta testers. Fascinating.
