How do I get my player back!!

Bought a player pre season and played him almost all league games over 4 months. Accumalated 5 yellow cards so got a ban. After ban player has disappeared from my squad numbers list. Have found him through typing his name into search and showing still with club and having squad number in profile. If place him available for reserve team, there he is in reserves list. Try to place in senior squad, gone again. Really frustrating as one of my better players. Any ideas!!!

Untick all your filter options. Maybe you've selected one by mistake.

Have just unticked all filters and then added ticks back one by one. When on reserve team, squad number appeared back next to player. Put player back to senior squad, unticked reserve and just had senior ticked. Player immediately back in senior squad.
