    I always try to sign players I know or have managed.

    Cavani, Lucio, Jonas, Coloccini and Puyol were all at Newcastle at some point.

    I have Ryan Giggs and Emerson Boyce as coaches at my Celtic team (Boyce stayed on after retiring as a player with us). Also have Cudicini and Alan Mains as gk coaches and former Celtic 'cult hero' Rudu Vata is a scout for us.
