threaten to resign?

I hate it when the board 'take it into their own hands' and accept the offer without you having any part of the equation, especially when your top of the league and if you loose those players, you know you may fall. Is there any option to threaten to resign if their sold does anybody know? I have searched. If not, maybe something that can be implemented in the next update?

I don't think there is an option. You can offer ultimatums but not relating to transfer policy as far as I know.

The only thing that you can do is offer that player a new contract hopefully hell sign it and reject the transfer contract from the other team.

When can you submit an ultimatum now? I know you used to be able to, but they were barely effective anyway. I never had one successful one, no matter how great my reputation was.
