Player going down in attributes at 18 after a week

Hello, I bought this 18 year old with 19 shooting for £2m at Chelsea. Put him on Intensive Training which improved everything else but for some reason his shooting went down to 15.

After 1 month:

There are the stats with the increase/decrease from the original by the side of each one (sorry for the layout).

I am sure this is some kind of bug as he wouldn't go down so quickly.

I regularly found (particularly so in 2010, but also in '11) that strikers, especially young ones would have a vastly fluctuating shooting stat.
