Shame on BungleFish for trying to slip a real player through. Someone else better go and find us a new next Jim Baxter!
I have added all the latest and also more of my own including a possible additional data issue.

Bizarrely dubbed the new Dario Conca, an Argentine, despite being Brazilian/Portugese? Never knew they could cross nationalities.
They are not supposed to cross boundaries. Dario Conca was mistakenly added to the list for Brazil. You can check the list in the editor under famous players for the country. I raised this and Diego Lugano's inclusion on the list in the Data Forum, so it should be removed sometime in the future. I guess we found special-edition regens!
I have added it to the list anyway.
I present to you the one you've all been waiting for, the brand new Vladimir Durković! Durković won 3 French league titles with Saint-Etienne in the late 60s, but was shot by a policeman in 1972. Let's hope this regen doesn't replicate that.

A player I got from my last youth intake.
![]()
Nice to see a big name for a change.
![]()
I have added the latest to the list.
The Brazil Researcher has stated that the Famous Players list can include foreign players who played in the country's domestic league and done well, so that is the explanation for the likes of Conca and Lugano.
Uploaded with ImageShack.us
The new Paul Lambert, also had the new Fernando Torres come through my youth intake and I'm about to buy the new Florent Balmont, but they've both already been put up.
I added it to the list. Happy hunting everyone!
The new John Charles (Juventus legend!)
Uploaded with ImageShack.us
Good finds from both of you. John Charles is a great player to have as our first Welsh legend.
Both are now on the list.
I can't believe I'm the first to find the new Stuart Pearce! New Ashley Cole's are a dime a dozen (I have one in the reserves), but Stuart Pearce will always be the better defender
The new Luciano - I hope the lad is better than his mediocre, journeyman predecessor...
![]()
I added the two new ones.
Hopefully I will add a few soon once I get to a high enough level on my new save.
Introducing the next Vedran Runje - the description only recently appeared when he changed from german to croatian
Pavic
Description
Is it possible for a regen in a longer term game to be dubbed the next of an early, successful regen?
The list is up to date.
Lenzar, I have no idea but if anyone finds one, I hope they post it here.
I've got the next Quini!!

Nice one. I have added that and this one I found:

Here is another one from me. Not very exciting.
![]()
Woohoo! I found one!
Apparently, Mr. Heylens played at the World Cup in 1970 and now wears wigs. He had a 30+ year managerial career as well.
Have a Marouane Fellaini as well, can't believe there wasn't one already.

Gah, I can't stop looking now. Here's a bunch more.
Uruguay's 1950 World Cup winning goalkeeper.
Not one, not two, but THREE new Danes.

The new Fernando Muslera.

The new Vedat Okyar

I have only posted the ones that are in my own team, although i'm keeping a lookout for ones from unusual countries now.
I have added the latest. This is in fact an addictive game.
More Danes, including one I'm delighted to see. All I remember of Jan Molby is he was fat and slow, so surely ALL footballers could potentially be him?

The new Cata Diaz.

I have added the latest to the list.
Can't believe the next Franz Beckenbauer hasn't been seen but correcting that:

Good find Thebaker. Beckenbauer seemed more common last year. I have added them to the list.
I was holding off on this guy until I found a few more, but not having much luck looking recently.

It is always good to get a new country on the list. Here are some more for me as well now that I am managing in the Championship and I have scouts scouring Europe (my save this patch was a journeyman one starting in the Blue Square North).

The latest players have been added to the list as well as two from me:

One of these is a bit dubious.
"Model Professional"? Really? Are you SURE?

I have a few more that I just added to the list:

Wow, I feel sorry for the guy touted the next Sabri Sarioglu, the guy plays like a headless chicken, how he made it into professional football, let alone the Turkish National Team is beyond me.
The new Mauro Cetto.

I added that one and a whole bunch more from me:

We have found Chilavert for both Argentina and Paraguay:

Interesting one with Chilavert, I thought he was from Paraguay not Argentina.

got a french winger touted as the next ribery
All the latest are added.
As for Chilavert, yes he is from Paraguay, but he was considered famous for his club career in Argentina, so the researchers from Argentina added him to the list that some of these are pulled from. Some researchers add foreign players and some do not.
Here are a few more from me:

I have added the latest including some of my own. The Paulo Assuncao is a duplicate. Sorry that the Brazil list is orderered slightly differently from the other countries.

Also please just make a new post if you add more players. I might miss the changes if you edit an old post.
Here are two more from me:

Two new Germans:
The next Mario Basler (poor guy!)
The new Aaron Hunt

I have added them to the list.

I have added yours plus a new one for me. I have started a new save in MLS, so I hope to get the Western Hemisphere lists a little longer. Here is mine:

Unless I've missed them, has there ever been a regen dubbed 'The New Maradona/Messi/Ronaldo(original & CR)Pele/Baggio(Roberto)/Cryuff/Platini/Schifo/Koeman/Van Basten/ and so on?
I've seen one dubbed the 'New Ronaldo' before I recall...? Why aren't there ever Pele's etc? New Messi's? Or am I missing that?
As far as i remember I think i seen Maradona and old Ronaldo in older FM's but never any of the others, which is strange as it seems these are the obvious players that youngsters would be touted, Especially Maradona, Pele, Messi and CR since they are the names dropped IRL when the press gets their eyes on a new youngster that a team is trying to buy.
I'd like so see new players being touted or dubbed current superstars in your game, for example in a few years a new player could be doubed the new Neymar or the new Raphaël Varane, then in a few more years youngsters could be touted as another regen player if the get good enough rep

I have seen a Messi in FM2012, sadly by the time I'd heard of this thread, he had changed to a new Xavi instead, and there was already one of those. Ultimately he was neither, and I moved him on.
The post I mentioned him in, and his attribute (but not info sadly) page.
I've got a little bunch of the next X's in my youth teams. Marked "Unique" if I can't find any of them on your list.
The next:
Kasper Bĝgelund Unique
Stefan Reuter
Adriano
Jan Schlaudraff Unique
Jádson Unique
Simon Jentzsch
Riccardo Montolivo
Aurélien Chedjou Unique
Servet Çetin Unique
Jens Mustermann/Oliver Kahn Unique
Michel Platini
Washington
Kevin Kuranyi
My biggest hopes are on the next Oliver Kahn and Michel Platini. The Brazilian duo of the next Jádson and Washington are diamonds in the rough too.
Okay, I have added the latest.
Here are a couple more from me:

Only one from me, but the thread needs a bump anyway.
