Welcome Roberto, the best Goalkeeper to come through in the 24 years that I have been managing.

He's a good 'un. Casiraghi seems alright as well.

Great intake. Always useful to get a keeper of good quality coming in.

Not the greatest of players but a speed demon. A good achievement.

Can you show the San Marino line up so we can see your players involved?

Good to see the other teams are using my idea.

Also, the major player to look out for in the next 10 years is Nicolas Marinelli (YP24) he's 19 years old but has already broken 2 records this season, The most man of the match awards, and the most goals scored in a season, 12 & 40 respectively.

Hmm. On my game Samuel Eto is absolutely useless at judging player potential. Doesn't that render your YP's star ratings pretty irrelevent?

Much better this year, we managed to score way more and we played in a more dominant fashion.

Coppa Titano - Another easy win beating Tre Penne 3-0 in the Final.

European Champions Cup - Easy Qualification and then the usual thrashing in the group stages.

Squad - Good defenders, good strikers and decent goalkeepers coming through now!

Finances - Now we're getting loads more prize money we're now £23,000,000 in the black.

    Youth Players at the club:

Angelo Perra (YP13) - Became the first person in San Marino to get 100 caps, also San Marino's Top goalscorer

    Antonio Costanzo (YP17)

    Boris Oddo (YP19)

    Pasquale Missirolli (YP20)

    Donato Cursio (YP21)

    Rocco Marchesini (YP26)

46 goals in 45 games, give that guy a medal! Was he quite consistent in scoring or just get a few huge goal scoring hauls like the 4-0 one?

Excellent stuff, especially the efforts if Marinelli. Is that middle screenshot his match stats for the season?

And yes, definitely go for it.

I've actually put together 20 Campionato Sammarinese squads, 19 Coppa Titano winning squads & 16 Trofeo Federale winning squads. It's just the history is messed up..

That's incredible, but I'm rather amused at the fact he only has one match rating over 9 despite being so prolific. His finishing is astonishing too, I reckon it will reach 20 in the next couple of seasons.

I'm hoping his composure will get a couple of points higher aswell, he's just got his second 9.0+ rating, getting a 9.6 scoring a hat-trick in a 7-1 thrashing of Fiorentino.

Congratulations on getting the San Marino job! Are you planning to flood the team with San Giovanni players or keep it similar to what it is? Either way, it would be good to see the team built around the attacking talents of Marinelli - what a player he could be!

Has your reputation suffered since you became 2.0? Would you have been even more of a shoe-in with your 1.0 status?
Anyway, now the fun really can begin. San Giovanni lifting the World Cup!

Quite awesome really. I took Torquay to the Prem and not once did I have a youth prospect come through who wasn't let go. And only one of these went on to have a career.

Thanks, at first I'm going to stick with any Sammarinese players to try and keep the rankings up but in the future it will be just San Giovanni players, I'm just hoping that their fitness won't take a toll from all the games.

I don't think that my reputation has suffered, I'd still have the National reputation, just I'd have 10 more years experience.

Thanks Marky, sometimes when I play more than a couple of seasons in San Marino I get bored and end up going back to FM11 for a couple of days to even things out, just to explain why I might not have an update for a couple of days

We're now in February and would you believe that Nicolas has scored atleast 1 goal in every game he's played in, and he's only missed 2 for travelling!

Your striker is playing like a beast! That German should help to boost the ranks of your national team too

We drew our first friendly 2-2 away to Israel who were 19 ranks ahead of us, Foresta is now a Sammarinese international but unfortunately he didn't score.

Being certs in the league, would you choose to Holiday through and just play when Euro and international matches come about?

    We could get quicker updates!

I think I could do that, but as with me, more than a couple of seasons at San Marino gets very stale for me, so what I'm thinking of is running a save parallel to this as an International Journeyman using Unknown Hackers added leagues and Poops' added international competitions and make another thread on here for that, just so I don't get bored of San Marino so easily, what do you all think, would you mind me doing that?

    Wow. Wow. WOOOOOOWWWW.

Just read through the whole thread, so exciting and also distracted me from my homework for a while. Definitely the best career I have seen. About your new savegame, go for it! Where are those added leagues and competitions found? I'm relatively knew to this forum (although I joined in July 2011). Keep up the fantastic work!

    San Giovanni - Campionato Sammarinese - 2035/36

    League Table
    League Positions Graph
    Domestic Fixtures

Murata pushed ahead of us all season...apart from the last game, which won us the gorup.

Coppa Titano - Easy again beating Tre Fiori 4-2 in the Final

European Champions Cup - Well, we got a point against CSKA Moscow away from home, and the Qualifiers are always pretty good easy wins.

Squad - Finally got rid of (YP15) at the end of the season as he hadn't played for 2 seasons, a couple of players I thought weren't good enough so I got rid of their (YP) tag aswell.

Finances - Again at £23,000,000 because we have to re-upgrade our Facilities due to them "not being where they once were in the footballing world"

    Youth at the club:

Angelo Perra (YP13) - 32 and stats are finally declining, sadly, hoping I can get him as my assistant as he wants to go into management.

    Antonio Costanzo (YP17)

    Boris Oddo (YP19)

    Pasquale Missiroli (YP20)

    Donato Cursio (YP21)

    Rino Alizzi (YP22)

    Enrico Chiodo (YP23)

Nicolas Marinelli (YP24) - 66 goals in 46 appearances. That is all. And he only came 2nd in the European Golden Boot, will he ever win??

    Mateo Bressan (YP25)

    Ezio Carli (YP27)

    Marcello Allegri (YP28)

    Roberto Pastorelli (YP29)

    Roberto Migilironi (YP31)

I'm hoping that he'll give me another 2 or 3 seasons of service, would be good to see him get 20 seasons playing.

He's refused to sign a new contract....Raoul Belmonte is leaving San Giovanni.

We lost against Cherno more in the Champions Playoff which put us as 3rd seeds for the EURO Cup, I actually think we have an okay group, hopefully get a few points.

Thanks everyone! unfortunately it's been 2 losses so far, away to HSV & home to Maritmo.

Murata recently have gotten to the Third or Fourth Qualifying Round of the EURO Cup.

    Outplayed but we win!

Also San Marino's nest international game is against Andorra, we just drew 2-2 away to Sweden!

San Marinese football has probably exceeded the quality of Canadian soccer by now...

    Marinelli is a great player!

Canadian "soccer" is really bad, they're ranked 177th and this year lost 2-0 to Montserrat.

Finally getting some decent defender talent, I've also just noticed Armando Cocco, 15 years old and 6"9" !

Lanzaro could be excellent, high scores in heading and jumping are exactly what you need. Plus, with mentals like those, a future captain?

How far off the first XI is he?

Think he might need his marking improving to make it as a DC. Perhaps train him as midfield enforcer?

He probably will be the future captain with his Influence & Work Rate, I'll give him a handful of games next season and if he performs well enough he could be in the first team the season after that since he is already "isn't far from that standard" of the best central defender Ricardo Zappia, he should also have a longer career thanks to his high Natural Fitness.

Sorry all :S Gone past the update day without screenshots, the sum things up, we finished the leaue with 20-4-1, and Nicolas scored 30 in 45, The National Team beat Bulgaria 6-2 in a World Cup Qualifier and are 2nd behind Germany.

Also I think from this season I'll start doing monthly updates to give more constant, flowing updates.

Just some Champions Cup Qualifiers this month, sees us thrash Neath 7-3 and get a shoe into the next round by beating Pyunik 4-0 at home.

We outplayed BATE in every way and for the groups I'll be hoping to get a point off of Beskitas, atleast we get the £6,100,000 from it!

Haha, excellent. Next step, knock-out rounds

Did you outplay Besiktas then, or a lucky victory?
