Angelo Perra is awesome for a 15 years old. I'd definitely hire a player like that - for my russian premier league side. Nevermind for that lower level. Very lucky there to get a player like that I reckon.
Oh my god! this is not happening!
This means no matter what, we will either be in the European Champions Cup Groups or the EURO Cup Groups!
Is there a qualification 4th leg? :/
tough luck :/ but if you win, that means 6 million pounds, you'll definitely go semi-pro or pro! UEFA groups will still mean semi-pro I guess..
Gava looks like he can be a decent CB to be honest, congratulations on that victory over Leverkusen, good progress in Europe!
Have you tried putting a ridiculously high asking price on your players, has dissuaded the AI from approaching my players in the past. AI may have wised up though but I guess it's worth a try.
I can't see any points, but I get good money from it!
That is one tough group, but great progress in Europe! Love reading this!
Tough group, but fantastic progress. Congrats on getting to the group stage![]()
An Immense, life-consuming venture this looks... fair play
Ah what a shame, hopefully you can turn into semi-pro soon.
Do you mind posting your European Coefficient screenshot of the last 5 seasons? Just wondering if you are getting the bonus points for reaching the group stage of the Europa League since that wasn't happening on FM11.
I meant the club ones, thank you very much!
You should get 2 points for reaching the group stage of the Europa League but i can see this hasn't been fixed yet..![]()
What an epic thread and for pure dedication you deserve a big thumbs up
Loving this, and you are steaming along. Your rise so far has been awesome, long may it continue. I know you don't like losing your young stars, but for me in my games, nothing beats seeing one of them play for Barca, AC Milan, Man Utd etc!!
Keep up the good work![]()
An amateur team in the europa league, now i've seen everything.
You think the board might consider turning semi-pro now? :P
WIN

Congrats![]()
Finally congratulations! It should make the game a lot more interesting now
Didn't even know you could request that.
I admire your dedication, very impressive.
Keep up the good work!
Congratz, making real progress now
Gratz mate, looking forward to more reading ^^ If only college courses were this exciting, I'd get a 4.0 GPA![]()
That's what my FC United board told me, but nothing happened...
wowsers. congrats mate
I think I have been inspired to try something similar in a few months![]()
Fantastic progress this season. First the group stages and immediately afterwards semi-pro status with youth facility improvements.
That partnership between Aielli and Perra is incredible.
Nicely done.
Gratz on getting the green light!!! Now sign up those kids, and start stealing the best kids from the other San Marino teams, see how they like it haha
He can buy his youth players back![]()
Fantastic thread, really enjoyed reading through the lot.
Wow! thankyou everyone, sorry there has been no updates today, school started again and i've just come back from a halloween party, I'll load up now and tyr to get a couple of hours gameplay done!![]()
Congratulations on becoming a pro club mate![]()
quick question are you using the san marino file where at the start for winning the league you get 25k(prize money)? because if you are it will reach around 10mil when it becomes 2 star, unfortunately it seems to have the same problem as last year![]()
If he is using mine update (and i think he is) the winning prize is 500 €.

Fabio looks awfully good for a Sammarinese youngster
Looks like you got that defender you needed!![]()
Perra and Aielli upfront, the two Fabio's at the back and Belmonte in the middle of it all. Not a bad team you are building up there. The San Marino FA chiefs will be proud.
Having read this thread, you are doing really well and you have inspired me to have a go in san marino![]()
Fantastic and epic thread!! I hope someday you'll win the champions league !![]()
Thanks for the encouragement everyone!I'm sorry my updating is turning into few and far between, but my laptop is pretty knackered, it has little over 800MB free, and that's after Disk Cleanup, Disk Defragmenter and compressing files I mean in total this woeful laptop had 32.5GB hard-drive, and I got it from my granddad..so it's going kaput, I will try to update soon though, sorry for any inconveniences!
NOOOOOOOOOOO!!!
![]()
Noooooooo. Is that a one off crash or has the save gone kaput?
I've had that quite a few times, though have a weekly autosave as my laptop tends to have a few occasional crashing phases, and haven't lost any results yet, in fact hardly anything at all. Should be able to reload as all I need to do is start FM up again immediately, click 'load last save' and it's business as usual, minus any game time you've lost.
How much did you lose? Crash dumps aren't the worst things that can happen, but I hope you haven't lost too much progress. If it becomes a regular occurence it's a bit more worrying.
I lost like 2 days...weekly autosave, but it keeps crash dumping at that date, It won't let me go past!
Going to report it, see what happens
Try a number of things, once I had to resign to get past a set dump point, but I was able to continue the career. Not much use in a one-club project though.
He can alway add a new manager as far as the game is saved..
Yea guys, I've managed to get past the date by retiring and adding a new manager
Phew.. I was so scared that we'd lose this topic. Now go ahead and make us proud!![]()
First point of buisness for me....2.0 me
Really glad you kept this alive, I really enjoy reading this![]()
Fantastic thread mate. Keep it up!
haha, I'm afraid the automatic updates will have to wait until tomorrow, school most of the day followed by me playing in a concert.....nervous much!
Can't be harder than taking a Sammarinese team to the Europa League Groups!
PS: Good luck!![]()
Mate, just sat and read the entire thread and I tip my hat to you. Simply awesome.
Keep posting and updating!
Go San Giovanni!
Go 2.0! The CL awaits eventually.
looking goodnew facilities should help a lot in developing talent
Glad you found a way to continue, enjoying reading your progress updates
Great career, really hope you make it. Following from here onwards![]()

San Giovanni - Campionato Sammarinese - 2021/22
League Table
League Position Graph
This year seemed alot harder and we struggled to retain the title but in the end we managed to outclass the opposition.
Coppa Titano - Started with a loss then had some high-scoring games and comfortably won the final 3-1.
European Champions Cup & EURO Cup - Got all the way to the Champions Playoff before again being badly beaten by Olympiakos, which put us in the EURO Cup Group Stages against Villareal, Udinese & PSV, we finished dead last scoring 4 and conceding 30 but not doing as bad as Bohemians who scored 0 and conceded 27.
Squad - Another 4 players have left, a couple of Youth Stars now.
Finances - Now £2,453,673 in the black!
Youth Players:
Raoul Belmonte (YP2) - The oldest player in the squad and is a very solid, consistent player with 41 appearances, now has 48 caps.
Giovanni Cambi (YP11) - 6 caps, 41 appearances aswell this year, 20 years old and still has loads of potential.
Remo Aiella (YP12) - A poor season by his standards 46 appearances and 21 goals, but still better than any other Sammarinese clubs strikers.
Angelo Pierra (YP13) - 5 appearances less than Remo, but the same amount of goals, looks better than Remo.
Fabio Bernardini (YP14) - Hopefully going to be leading the back line for plenty of years if he stays at the club, amazing prospect.
Antonio Stanzione (YP15) - Another good striker, I don't know if he'll get many choices due too our first choice strikers being amazing..

Congratz![]()
Congratulations on turning semi-pro, I've been watching this thread with interest. Always wanted to do a save taking the San Marino club in Italy's C2 to glory and using its facilities to churn out Sammarinese youngsters for the national team, but wow, you're doing it the hard way by using the actual San Marino league.
Best of luck.![]()
Thanks all
Europe was cut short this year...
Wow gratz mate! Totally good news!
of course just the semi-pro thing, not the cska one![]()

Better Youth Facilities & Professionalism![]()
this.....THIS......this is a win!
Great developments.
Professionalism is not always a good thing. It will raise your expenses a lot and sometimes it will be hard to give some profit and accumulate some money.
My experience in low rep leagues is that you should wait till you get a decent income to go pro.
