Again we started off badly, then had a winning streak, a losing streak, and another winning streak to win the title 1-0 against Folgore.
Coppa Titano - A great time in the Cup, only one loss this year and we ended up beating Murata, our old bogey team in the final.
Squad - Only got rid of 2 players, honestly I should have gotten rid of Andrea Pedretti aswell...
Finances - Looking very strong thanks too prize money, yet we still can't afford to turn Professional.
Youth Players at the club:
Andrea Pedretti (YP1) - Only gotten 10 appearances since he came through the Youth System, I'm thinking that it maybe time for him to move on.
Raoul Belmonte (YP2) - He's great, and still growing, since the screenshot he's also gotten 2 more San Marino caps to his name.
Valerio Borrello (YP6) - He has vastly exceeded my expectations, scored 8 goals and broken records, 5 MoM awards and 19 assists in all competitions.
Allessandro Rossini (YP7) - 35 appearances but a couple of attributes dropped at the end of the season, still he is only 18 and has 15-20 years ahead of him.
Simone Morelli (YP10) - Made 1 Youth team appearance and scored a penalty, made 1 San Marino U21 appearance and scored 2, a star for the future I think.

Please don't go ahead! They want a new manager!

Why do you just write that you finished 2nd in the group but not write the results of the playoffs succh as you won the title? :/ great finances btw, can't quite believe that they can't afford turning pro. At least semi-pro should be available with that much money, it's not like footballers earn a fortune in San Marino
I don't really know, I just don't do it, it's a lot easier for me just putting the Groups, finances will only get better with European football now.
He may not want me but he does have ambitions for the club.
EDIT:
HAPPY DAYS!!!
Also my European matches are coming up, we face Andorra's Santa Coloma whist Racing FC of Luxembourg face Rhyl of Wales

European Champions League - Champions First Qualifying Phase First Leg
We got tired late on but still nearly managed a comeback, in the other game Rhyl beat Racing FC 2-0
European Champions League - Champions First Qualifying Phase Second Leg
WE'RE THROUGH!!!!!!
We were 10-1 outsiders and after going down to 10 men in the 55th minute I thought we had no chance but Michele Pratelli scored in the 83rd minute! Santa Coloma had a chance to equalise in the 88th minute but thankfully missed the penalty.
We go through to face Azerbajani team Qarabag Agdam in the 2nd Qualifier. Rhyl beat Racing FC 2-1 agg

We were expected to get hammered but we scored the first and last goal of the game with the last being a diving header.
European Champions League - Champions Second Qualifying Phase Second Leg
This time we did get hammered, it was ok until we got to the final 15 minutes where we just fell apart.

Fun thread, really enjoyed reading that. Good luck for the rest of the season, look forward to reading an update after the weekend!
Been following for a while. You've made some great progress.
Now tell the board to become semi-pro! (if you can)
Obviously you are in the top division or you wouldnt be in Europebut how do the play-offs work because it obviously doesnt show who won the title on the league table only?
I think you new chairman is this guy he is from Carcarañá, with the extra money from Europe should have a good chance of going semi.
Thanks, glad you've enjoyed it so far, I'll probably have another couple of seasons done over the weekend for you to check up on.
I've made a bit of progress, we're miles away from the aim but there's no rush, I have 11 months to do this. And after the Champions league we have over 1m in the finances but still can't afford to go Semi-Pro, but we can ask the board for a better Transfer & Wage Budget.
The Play-offs really confuse me, I still don't know how they work but the teams that finish 1st in their Groups go into the Champions Playoff Fourth Round, and the teams in 2nd & 3rd go into the Champions Playoff First Round
How did you get this league? I would love to do something similar but with Luxembourg..
http://community.sigames.com/showthr...Cups-(FM-2012)
I got the league from there![]()
It's good to know that if you don't get what you want, that if you say you can't continue your roll at the club if it's not accepted, the board accepts
And we have excellent Junior Coaching![]()
And with average coaching at Galatasaray, I don't have the option to say upgrade it but I can say downgrade it for money. Geez.. Cheers for ambitious chairmen
Awesome, that puts you on the same level as some of the top clubs in Europe. Now you'll have to wait for your board to allow you to become semi-pro, so that the next Morelli that comes through (at him being poached) won't be stolen that easily.

I don't think the Youths will get much better for a while due to the country being ranked 208th.

I don't understand why we're so bad at the start of the season, we almost always go bottom for atleast one game of the season. Thankfully we always pick up mid-season and we won the league for the 3rd time.
Coppa Titano - We breezed through the Group Stages but just couldn't beat La Fiorita in the Quarter Finals.
Squad - I let the older 1/2* players go and now we have a smaller squad where Andrea Pedretti (YP1) is the oldest player, age 22 and the squad average age is 17.
Finances - We're 1.1M in the black and most of that is set to improving the Training Facilities, I want enough money to go Semi-Professional.
Youth Players at the club:
Andrea Pedretti (YP1) - Made 4 appearances this year, but only got a 6.32 rating, also the oldest player at the club now, not very impressive.
Raoul Belmonte (YP2) - The captain of the team and the key player most of the time he scored 6 and assisted 12 he is also on 14 caps for the National Team now with an average rating of 7.13.
Valerio Borrello (YP6) - An average sort of season for Valerio, 6 goals and 10 assists, not far behind Raoul and got an average rating of 7.02
Allessandro Rossini (YP7) - Our only goalkeeper, he's good, not very consistent though but then again, he is only 19.
Giovanni Cambi (YP11) - The good player from this years batch, hopefully he won't do as others have done for the last couple of years and join another club in the Pre-season.

Also, are their any of my ex-Youth Players or players/ clubs that you guys want screenshots of?
Not a club or player, but could you post a screenshot of your facilities page?![]()
I'm thinking my most important win yet? We beat Bangor City 4-2 in the First Qualifying Round as 10-1 outsiders, and we've just beaten Montenegrins Mogren 1-0 at their place as 50-1 outsiders to put us in the 3rd Qualifying Round against FK Austria Wien!!
We lost 10-1 on agg to FK Austria Wien and then get this:
Oh Dear God, it's going to be history repeating itself..
Last edited by Makoto Nakamura; 28-10-2011 at 20:34.
And even though it is now excellent, I still have no idea on what Junior Coaching is.
"Junior coaching is how well your youth players are coached before they are generated into the game. It will therefore mostly affect their starting CA." - Quote from Stu Coleman.
Seems that's the best thing to improve for you right now: in San Marino your youngsters won't improve much even with first team match exposure, because the level of the league is so low and they're on amateur contracts, so it's best to have them good enough to start immediately.
March 8th - Youth Candidate Day:
Now if only we could get some defenders in the squad...
Remo scored a hattrick in a 4-2 win agains't my U19's!

Remo looks amazing.
I really like this thread, due to it's pace. You don't seem to slow down and you throw out updates constantly. Loving what you did so far, hopefully semi-pro is not that far off.
I'm amazed that you've managed to go through this many seasons already. Does the San Marino league have like 10 games per season or something?
Enjoying this. The complete opposite of my glacial youth-only FM11 career.
The league reputation must be going up, last year we got 31k for winning the Campionato Sammarinese, this year we got 83.51K for winning it, season update shortly

We started off better this year, I don't think we are the dominant team in San Marino yet as we still get quite a few losses each year, but we managed to get to the final where we beat Virtus 3 - 2
Coppa Titano - Only one loss in the group stages and we ended up winning the final against Juvenes Dogana
European Champions Cup - We managed to easily beat Bangor City 4-2 before expecting to get hammered by Mogren, we won 3-2, we then did get hammered by FK Austria Wien 10-1 putting us into the EURO Cup.
EURO Cup - The less said the better, it was the same as 4 years ago, we were utterly destroyed.
Squad - I got rid of (YP1) he didn't play a game all season so it was for the best I thought.
Finances - 650K in the black our finances plummeted when we made new Training Facilities.
Youth Players at the club:
Raoul Belmonte (YP2) - His stats dropped towards the end of the season but he is rated as the best player in San Marino.
Valerio Borrello (YP6) - Started getting assists again, 6 goals, 12 assists and now capped for San Marino.
Allessandro Rossini (YP7) - Oddly not the first choice anymore, we now have a goalkeeper who I payed no attention too when he came through the Youth..
Giovanni Cambi (YP11) - The first Youth in a while that stayed with the club over Pre-Season and at 17 he's already been capped twice for San Marino, also got 5 goals and 8 assists so not bad.
Remio Aielli (YP12) - I really hope he stays at the club over Pre-season, the best person too come through the Youth System so far, I've started training his composure so he can try and be the goal machine next year.

Good season, nice layout. You seem to be making some progress which is obviously a plus!![]()
Good supply of reasonable youngsters there.
Thanks, I'm going to hopefully get to the 3rd Qualifying round again this year since we have been given pretty easy draws in my opinion.
Yea, A couple of my youngsters without the (YP) have suprised me in being really good, like we have a couple of awesome defenders now.
The European draws have been done:
EURO Cup 1st Qualifying Round:
Virtus vs IFK Norrkoping
Folgore vs Ferencvaros
European Champions Cup 1st Qualifying Round:
San Giovanni vs Llanelli
European Champions Cup 2nd Qualifying Round:
San Giovanni or Llanelli vs Shamrock Rovers
Amazing to see Remo make his debut at the club, in the continental competition and manage to score aswell!
Nice to see Remo starting off so well.![]()
We managed to fend off Shamrock Rovers 1-1 going through on the away goals rule which puts us in the 3rd Qualifying round against Greek giants Olympiakos.
We lost 7-0.

How many 16 year old Sammarinese players can say they've scored against a club like Braga! Only Remo...
epic career. my hat goes off to you. i find myself checking every few hours praying for an update, and well what can i say about Remo...
Remo looks a legend in the making, have any of the YP's that were poached come of anything?
enjoying this .. can u post a screenshot of remo ?

Fabio La Mura (YP4) - History

They've all been pretty dissapointing in not yet reaching potential and most club hop each season.
And on the eighth day God created Remo, he's going to be the guy that takes you into the champions league group stages.
He's already getting you part of the way there.
Hey there.
One of the problems of this kind of leagues last year was the prizes that the competition got after they enter on the top 50 of the dynamic league ranking.
Could you try to post how they are evolving as the league/cup evolves in this ranking? (TV rights should be evolving too)
BTW, hope the update is working well for you, if you find any problem on it don't forget to post the bug on the updates topic!
Good Luck for your game, hope you get that challenge, won't be easy!
PS: The Ultimate challenge is to put a league like this one in 1st place of the Dynamic Ranking League! That's THE challenge! ehehe
Well I'll also try and get the league #1 in the rankings and the top nation coefficients too then
Right now the winner of the Trofeo Federale gets 27.83K for winning which seems pretty normal since I remember last year it went to like 5M prize money after 1 year so there's no bugs as of yet![]()

Just noticed this:
Holy WOW, he's been signed on a free from A.C. Milan
Wow indeedlucky you! Hey makoto, can you check out the thread that I just started? It's in the career updates forum just like this one and I'd very much appreciate some feedback plus I'd love some advice from you since I have literally no experience on managing lower level clubs yet you're doing wonders here
![]()
Yea I'll check it out, and he's not mine, Cosmos just signed him, I'm not signing any players.
And to be honest, even though I managed a couple of years in San Marino before, this is the first time I've gone lower league, I normally go with the big clubs.
I've noticed a couple of strong players signing from A.C. Milan, Roma and Inter..
Oh my bad then, but still, with this pace, you'll be getting wonderkids from your youth team in about 15 years![]()
March 8th - Youth Candidates Day:
OH MY GOD!!!!! Introducing a star, a myth, a new legend, Angelo PERRA!!!
WOW! He's amazing.
How is Giuseppe Manno, who got 4.5 stars?
Pretty damn quick and hard-working as well.If you focused on his quickness training he might gain a couple of points in pace and accelleration and we all know what happens when you have a fast player in the lower leagues.

YP13 looks like a real step up, pity he'll probably be poached by somebody pretty soon

An amazing season, there were a few slip-ups but we are looking more like the dominant team in San Marino.
Coppa Titano - Our attack was all there, but we conceded atleast one for almost every game but we got into the final where Raoul Belmonte (YP2) scored a brace to help us beat Virtus 3 - 2
European Champions Cup & EURO Cup - It was alot harder than I first anticipated, scraping past Llanelli and going past Shamrock Rovers on away goals, before getting our two buttocks handed to us by Olympiakos, before actually getting a draw against Portugese giants Braga, before losing 4-0 against them.
Squad - We're finally getting some decent Youth Players through now with me releasing 3 players this year.
Finances - The European money was almost all of this with 27K coming from cups and 83K for winning the league again.
Youth Players at the club:
Raoul Belmonte (YP2) - Now the second best player in San Marino since an Italian from Inter got nationalised but he has 33 caps and I wonder if he'll grow any more.
Valerio Borrello (YP6) - His stats look sub-standard to me but 10 goals and 15 assists are something to shout about.
Allessandro Rossini (YP7) - His chances are getting less and less as the Youth are getting better and better
Giovanni Cambi (YP11) - A rising star, 2 caps and he's 18.
Remo Aielli (YP12) - He stayed, he grew, he conquered. And he wasn't even this seasons Top Scorer!
Angelo Perra (YP13) - I like him. Alot. His name is easy for me to spell, it's positive things all round.

The 4,675 San Giovanni Stadium, personally I would rather go Semi-Pro.
Great progress, keep up the good work![]()
The new stadium should pay for itself with all the money you'll make on European games now!
Enjoyed reading this thread, keep it up!
Awesome read, i just love this type of saves and i even got to finally know what the hell junior coaching means
Keep up the good work![]()
Enough money to build a new stadium but not enough to turn semi pro....
That bayer win iz really impressive
Must have been a great consolation anyway.
Hmm....should I apply, or is it to early to think about international management?
I've accepted and I'm going to see how I can do using only my own U19's for the internationals

Boo for being a cheesy national manager :P
At least you'll know half the players.
Wow great thread and progress mate.
Best of luck!
wow I just sat here for ages reading this and having a laugh. You are doing great mate, KUTGW
Hopefully you can hold onto YP13 for awhile until you hit semi-pro. Congrats on the new stadium too
I know all the players, it's 23 of my U19 Squad and they've not been embarrased in the 2 games they've played, losing 2-0 to Belgium U19 and losing 1-0 to Slovakia U19
Thanks Arkas!
It had to happen at some point to get my goals
Thanks deadfncat, glad you're enjoying it, I'm hopinh it will only be a season or 2 before we go Semi-Pro.
What a result for the Youth!
Impressive bunch.
Amazing Career so far, Keep it up.
March 8th - Youth Candidate Day:
Not anything better this year but we got a half decent defender.
That's some serious decline in youth quality. What do you think the problem is? Is your squad too good, so the youth players are at the same level but not compared to your squad? Or do you need to make more investment?
He had 5 star youth players for the past what, 7 seasons? I sure hope you're right and it's just a bad wave..
What a game, a 4-4 draw with us having more possession and spending 68 minutes with 9 men!

We had more "enjoyable" games scoring freely.....but also conceding freely leading to 7-2 wins and two 4-4 draws.
Coppa Titano - We retained the cup again and won £40,830 with an enthralling 6 - 0 thrashing of Cosmos in the final.
European Champions Cup & EURO Cup - We thrashed EB/Streymur 8 - 3 and thrashed Linfield 6-2 before being thrashed 10 - 3 by Molde and losing to Leverkusen 7 - 3.
Squad - Another 4 rejects left but same old, same old.
Finances - £586,181 in the black.
Youth Players:
Raoul Belmonte (YP2) - less appearances this season, mainly due to the amount of bans he'd gotten during the season but now has 43 caps and even 1 goal for San Marino.
Valerio Borrello (YP6) - Again less appearances mainly because (YP11) is taking over from him but is still getting capped.
Giovanni Cambi (YP11) - 19 years old and now capped, made 39 appearances this year and is getting stronger.
Remo Aielli (YP12) - WOW! 43 appearances, 39 goals! and an average rating of 7.55, with 2 caps, this 18 year old is going far!
Angelo Perra (YP13) - His debut season, made 43 appearances, scored 23 goals and gotten 2 caps for the national side.
