Nice work! Congrats!! Might be a bit early to ask this, but what do you think your chances are of staying up next season?

The squads made up of quite a few loan players, I've sent a few back hoping to replace them with free transfers, but with debts of 750k it's going to be a tough ask.

If we can get off to a good start and and stay injury free we might just have a chance.

Campeonato Brasileiro Série B halfway point 2012

It wasn't the best of starts for us, as stated earlier the tired legs were hunting us, after some wheeling and dealing in the transfer market, things have started to pick up.

Our media prediction was 12th, so I'm happy so far. He comes another long 19 games.

More updates to follow....

Barney, you're trying to build your squad a lot lot different than the way I'm building Santo André. And your players seem to be better than mine... :D

BTW, how much money did it take you to buy the stadium?

Rancer trust me there not. :D, I'm in meltdown, 1.5m in debt, with regards to the stadium no figure has been quoted yet. Where the post states "Assuming everything goes to plan" I have no money so I can see this falling through.

I'm finding it really difficult to score. Rivaldo has scored 8 in 31, I signed Nando from Mogi Mirim [Rivaldo told me to :D] he has been plan awful.

My main goal now is to slash the wage bill and try and re-build with youth.

I'm a little behind but congrats on the Corinthians result. Shame you tailed off towards the end. Looks like you're on the road to survival in Serie B which isn't bad for your first season in the division! Rivaldo looks like he still has the skills, even if he doesn't have the legs any more.

I tried the buying stadium and the board agreed for me too (for now :D)

I had trouble scoring initially in Serie B but I've seemed to have gotten the hang of things at this level. You just need a lot of players for the long season.

Don't worry about debt too much during the season. You're bound to lose money. Just keep winning and the rest will take care of itself....

The sack beckons for me.

Barney how reliant are you on loans?

At least you survived mate. Once you find that scoring touch you will certainly move up the table.

I signed quite a few on loan, but the ones that wanted to come wasn't any better than the squad I already had. I've worked out where we were failing and after a few tactic tweeks next season will be one to remember
