Start extra time solution?

Hi all, I posted a topic in the bugs forum about a problem I occurred. Once a match finished and extra time was about to start it wouldn't let me. Anyway has anybody else encountered this and managed to find a way around it.

I've tried a few things for the last hour but nothing seems to work. I really don't want to restart as I have had 3 very good results since the last save and would rather not have to go through it again.

So you get to extra time and the game won't let you kick off??
Strange...I have just completed Extra time in the Carling Cup and everything went ok. No issues.

Does the game get caught between 'play' and 'pause' instead of continuing? If so, leave the match screen and press space to return to it, should sort it.

The big continue button, when you tried to start extra time, did the text on the button change from 'play' to 'pause', or vice versa?

it stayed on my team talk page and said play i think

Sounds like what happened to me, no idea what I did that actually solved it. But I did:

Clicked the TV View button from the team talk screen.
Clicked the Live/Play/Pause/Exit Replay button a few times (can't remember what it said at the time)
Pressed F3
Pressed Space, then it worked.

the thing is i lost all my career thing so i quit I'm starting a new one now so thats the solution to exit highlights? because i clicked on tv view then pressed play (spacebar) and it took me back to my team talk screen

Usually pressing Space helps..

I imagine anything to get you away from the match, to the squad screen for example, would be fine.

My game got "stuck" at one point as well, I tried everything to get it working and nothing worked. Then saved the game, closed FM and reloaded and it worked fine. Luckily I wasn't in the middle of a match!
