Poop Posted October 22, 2011 Share Posted October 22, 2011 I'm currently in the process of creating a number of international competitions and I figured might as well post them so here they are The structures are accurate but the dates aren't all correct because some competitions take place over 3 days and the player fatigue in FM wouldn't be accurate as compared to real life so I spaced them out. There also is a minor error that I can't seem to fix in which competitions that take place every year are automatically scheduled for 2012 to begin with which means they do not take place in 2011 but will take place every year afterwards. Poop Posted November 5, 2011 Author Share Posted November 5, 2011 After finishing and testing some of the Arab Competitions together I had to change some dates on them, I originally scheduled the Arab Nations Cup qualifiers for a random date because in real life they took place 3 years before which I felt was odd but then I realized my custom date conflicted with the Gulf Cup every 6 years so I changed it, also the Gulf Cup of Nations conflicts with the Asian Nation qualifiers and because of the reputation it gets pushed back a couple weeks so I made it earlier Also the real Arab Nations Cup final date matches up with the world cup every 8 years and I can't set it to skip specific years so I pushed it back to September Overall I feel its an odd oversight by the federation in real life but I tried to make it as functional as can be without sacrificing realism, I realized all the clashes after running them altogether so I'm going to replace the files Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

Poop Posted November 29, 2011 Author Share Posted November 29, 2011 Added the Nessma Cup which is the new replacement for the North African Cup Winners Cup and the North African Cup of Champions and is contested between the Champions and Cup Champions of Tunisia, Libya, Algeria, Morocco and Egypt It wasn't contested in 2011 because of political turmoil so the structure is somewhat guessed though it is based on the original planned structure Also prize money was determined by combining the prize money of the North African Cup Winners Cup and the North African Cup of Champions. I tweaked the Pan Am file to have Canada hosting in 2015 as well, final at BMO Field with the same generation of players that were U-20s two years earlier could be great... take that "class" and bring them all the way to the 2016 Olympics and 2018 World Cup!
