Loved my time there on FM10, too much of a step down from the PL though.

Bristol City Announce £1m Signing of English striker Lee Jeffrey

His contract was due to run out at the end of the season but he was linked with moves to the two big manchester clubs so i swooped in early to secure him. £1m hopefully will seem cheap in the long run

Jeffrey looks more like a proper forward, compared to Cheng.

    Qualification

    Review
Wow wow wow, I have to be honest I never expected to qualify for the champions league, we were always there all season and I always expected us to drop off form but everytime we seemed to I'd change the players around and they would step up. we have 2 games to go to try and beat arsenal to second place so its automatic qualifcation to the group stages.

    Final League Table

    Manager of the year award

    Review

An amazing season in the league after an 11th place finish last season i was aiming for 7th at the most but 3rd place is amazing and in champions league playoff ( i think if we lose that we are in europa anyway so ill be happy if we make group stages of either) Team needs abit of a freshening up. A few fringe players will go in the summer and we will reinforce for a hard season where we have to try and do this again and go one better if we can for 2nd or even the title.

    Club Update

    Stadium expansion

    Youth Upgrade

    Junior Coaching upgrade

I asked for all these to be implemented as since I have joine over 3 years ago now not once youth player has been rated with a potential higher than half a star and as we are progressing we need youngesters to increase the depth of the club

    Training Ground Upgrade

    New Contract

    Champions League Draw

Nice to see the board are improving the club with another expansion following the stadium and Youth upgrades. A new contract was accepted with a payrise and a further year added. Hard group draw! I'd be happy with a point in that group

August 2022 Update And Summer Transfer Round up

    Results

    Table

    Transfers Out

    Transfers In

    Overview

Not a brilliant start to the season but we are a bigger club now so other teams seem to raise their game vs us, transfers I had a big clear out and invested in youth as we have no reserve or youth team set up as it stands until the upgrade. Quite a few loan ins to add depth to squad without making them permanent and also we are in 4 competitions this season so we need a bigger squad than ever before

7th place and semi finals of the champions league! I think the euro run took it out on my small squad but as tottenham and Man Utd won the two domestic cups I will be in the europa league Qualifying next season. Our expecations were Europa league Qualification so that was achieved, Ideally I would of liked to finished in top 4 again but we are still a small club compared to the 6 who finished above us. Aim next season is to qualify for europe again I would like to win a cup too, Usually i use fringe players but Im going to go for it next season.

Im quite happy with what I currently have, I havent noticed any better players wanting to join us as a result of that run, my transfer plans are to invest in youth if i spend much as I have spent quite abit in the last 2 seasons. I think there will be a bit of a cut back this summer, Even though the board have given me £30million transfer budget

    Breaking News!!

It was too big a job to turn down, With the money and Factilies in place theres a chance for me to win the title and champions league, Bristol City i always felt i was overachieveing with and are miles off the stature of Liverpool so I had to take the step

Team needs abit for rebuilding but with the massive transfer budget and january just round the corner I can start the rebuild

Liverpool Games Update for November and December

Bigger update coming in the january Update as busy making moves, squad needs a massive rebuild, bigger job than I thought but I believe I can do enough to get us to end of season with a short term rebuild then in the summer look long term

January Transfer Window & Results Update

    Plan

After joining the club the playing squad was in an awful position, it was ageing there was no depth, So first thing I did was implemented my formation I had been using at Bristol City, Any player that didn't fit that was transfer listed, any player who was past it or not good enough or lacked potential was also transfer listed, I cleared the decks of the deadwood and unneeded players. this boosted my £121million transfer budget by £95.1million giving me £216million to rebuild the squad. I don't usually like doing a massive overhaul in January but we needed it and I felt if we didn't we wouldn't make Europe next season. Main priority is 2 centre backs, a Right winger a left winger and two strikers.

    Overview

The rebuild is done until the summer, I bought in players who will ensure the quality of the first team improved and a whole range of youth. I'm hopefully the team gel fast. Two strikers were a massive priority and I spent big to bring in Osei (4goals) and Karaman (6goals) in but they have hit off straight away and form a great partnership hopefully they can continue and shoot me into Europe. I'm going all out to win the fa cup playing my strongest team possible. the aim is 3rd place in the league, Its going to be hard but if we can get a god run going we could do it. I feel I have sorted out the short term and set the foundations for the Long term with some quality youth purchases. Also I realise Bristol City are above us so it might not look like the best career move at the moment but i believe long term it will be.

Fa Cup is going according to plan, league is harder and I doubt we will progress in Champions League but its work in progress at the moment, Bristol City just won the Carling Cup though

    Final Table

    FA Cup Final

    Season overview

Well.... Season started great with City, Then I jumped ship to Liverpool, We got to the fa cup final and lost, whilst City won the carling cup, qualified for europe and finished above us in the league, It seems like a bad move at the moment BUT I'm Hoping Next season, League Title, Without any European football I think it may give us the upper hand, and with all the new players having the summer to gel I hope it works otherwise I fear the sack

Its going to be a slow process at Anfield. You still done a solid job and its a step in the right direction.

I Figure next season I need top 3 at least and a cup win, as we are not in Europe will play full strength teams in both cups

    Suprise!

Tottenham won the Champions League which gave us a chance in the Europa. I might use it to bleed youngsters

Would you have preferred no European competition?

If I qualified straight to groups I'd be happy but a 1st round start is not ideal, lots of games

£121m and you still couldn't win the FA Cup or get top 4
