I took this Job as they were professional already and I have never managed in Ukraine before

I've Looked on the internet for information on this club but cant find much.

So Based on FM History they were promoted in 2005 and have only won two leagues in their history, the other in 2002

    Aims:

    League: Meet Media Prediction (7th)

    Cup: Reach 2nd Round

Personal aims: Settle in the job this season aim for midtable and then next season aim for promotion

    First 5 League Games:

Started off with a thumping 3-0 win which proved to be abit of a false dawn as we followed that up with 1 win and 3 losses, at least I have hit the boards target to reach the second round in the cup after a 3-2 win to a non league side where we were 2-0 down after 15 minutes

    League Table after 5 games:

    Updates:

    From now on my updates will be as followed;

    * Pre-season
    * First 5 League games
    * End of transfer window
    * Mid-season
    * End of second transfer Window
    * Season Round-up

    Transfer Window Summer 2011 Update:

A £24.5k Profit by shedding the deadwood and bringing in players to strengthen the squad

Of the 6 signed 3 were centre backs (as mentioned above we only had 1) 2 on free transfers and a loan.

The other 3 signings were 2 strikers and a centre midfielder.

I feel now i have covered the gaps in the team and cleared out the players that arent required. Also i'm spending less on wages overall.

    Mid-Season Update:

After half a season i'm 6th in the league right where the media prediction says I should be.

I am dropping alot of points against lower placed teams if i could change that around second half of the season maybe i could push for promotion.
9 points would take some catching up for 2nd place.
I'm happy with how the seasons going so far.

    Key Players:

Signed at the start as the season on a free he has quickly become the mainstay in our back 4.

In his second season at the club already making 5 more apperances than last season. Hes a Left winger who I have been playing Left back

    Hot Prospect:

Centre Midfielder with 5* potential. Only played twice so far but will be bleeding him in slowly

Good start you've made there. Hope it continues.

I found the same thing with screenshots in Photobucket, and instead of buying a magnifying glass I switched to Imageshack.

    End Of Season 2011/12 Review

    Final Table:

As you can see a little bit of luck and another win somewherelse could of seen us finish 4th, which i felt like we deserved but we dropped too many points against teams fighting relegation it was a tight league but i was more shocked to find this in my inbox after the final game of the season

Which was a big shame as i had already got the leagues top scorer joining me on a free in the summer and a new centre back to strengthen the defence so i felt like i had a chance to push for the title next season.

I enjoyed my stint in Ukraine but the chairman obviously didnt agree!

back to the job centre for me.

    Key Players:

Two mainstays in my defence all season very consistant.

    Top Scorer:

Top Scorer with 7 which isn't good enough considering in 3 games he scored 2 in each then 1 in another a lack of a 15-20 goal season striker is what held me back from getting promoted. Hence why i had agreed to sign Kushka i shall keep an eye on them next season.

    AVANGARD KURSK

    Abit of History

I turn't the other 3 jobs down because this one paid more and better wage budget, even though they are currently overspending.
Also I have managed in England and wales before but never Russia so another new challenge. I also thought i could go back to Krymteplytsya for some players I liked.
Recently just promoted the aim is to stay in the league.
I have my first game in 6 days time which is a cup match but then we have a month until season starts so i will quickly evaulate this team and try and shift some high earners and tighten the belts up.

    Transfer Update

I was given a small transfer budget so I used to it reinforce our attacking options. After last season when I didn't have a goal scorer I knew i had to find one this season and hopefully JELAR is the man to do that.

I also signed Hristov and Bludnov as I'm hoping they can give Jelar chances to finish.

    My Wildcard Free Signing:

Yes he's 39 but I've offered him a one year deal as I feel like he could get us a few cruical goals throughout the season and where Jelar is only 20 he can help him out with experience. Hes not fit enough to play 90 so will mainly be an impact sub but fingers crossed.

    First 5 League Results:

    League Table:

A great start I think for relegation favourites we were top after 4 games, I was abit disappointed to lose the 5th game but we had to make 5 changes due to fitness.

Lipartov has settled straight in and scored 2 in 5 but is yet to play more than 45 minutes as he is a broken man his fitness goes from 99% to 45% in 45 minutes.

Bludnov, another signing has already chipped in with two assists.

Overall the team is gelling quick and we have had 3 clean sheets in 5 games which I love the look of!

This team is full of overaged, overpaid, bad footballers

BUT we have alot of 4.5*/5* potential youths so I have decided to clear out the old and give youth a go and hope to do enough to just stay up then next season aim for midtable then season after promotion. a 2 and a half year plan

My 1st signing on a free as window is closed but what a signing

My First 5 games in charge:

1 defeat in 5 is a good start if we can turn the draws into wins we will be safe.

    League table at halfway:

Just outside of the relegation zone where we need to be, a Midtable push would be nice

    Shedding the deadwood:

I Have reviewed the squad and got rid of all overpaid players and players I deemed not good enough to keep. Offered all out but no-one wanted to buy so released them. Was expensive to do but the savings on wages etc will help us long term.

    Review so far:

Its been a steady if unspectacular start but after getting rid of the wasters and signing two young players I feel I have the squad of potential. As long as we stay up this season next season I feel we can kick on

As you can see results have started to pick up, I have got rid of all the waste, changed the formation and younger players are finding their feet.

We have 5 games left and we need 3 wins to ensure we stay away from the relegation playout.

All in all its looking good, Ive agreed a few bosman frees for the end of the season so hoping next season we really kick on

    Recent Results:

A win vs Sambendettese would of put me 4 points ahead of them and 1 game left so I would of been safe, instead I need to win last game and hope results go my way or ill be in relegation playout

As it stands going into final day:

I have Messina who are 10th

    Ravenna Vs Valenzana
    Sambenedettese Vs Salerno (18th)
    Viterbese Vs Savona (11th)

Hoping for Valenzana to beat Ravenna which would make me safe if i win.

    In Other News:

Since I left they won only 5 games. Half the players i brought in weren't even used after I left.

    Final Day:

We did all we could, we got the 3 points that were available, it was a tense game, would it be enough?

The other results rolled in and Ravenna's Result vs Valenzana saved us and put Valenzana in the playout

    Full season update on way

    Season 2012-13 Review:

Following my sacking from Krymteplytsya at the end of the previous season I was appointed Manager of Avangard Kursk in Russia, I spent £100,000+ on players we had a good start and then a bad run of results saw my name mentioned to be sacked so i jumped ship on 6th october 2012. This Proved to be a good move as they were relegated at the end of the season. Could i Have kept them up? We will never know.

    Avangard Kursk Final Table

    T
hen on the 22nd of November 2012 I took over the Vacant Rimni job. They were struggling both on and off the pitch a midtable team down in the relegation zone. I made the choice to use this season as a transitional period, I got rid of all the Overage overpaid players and deadwood and as the under20s were full of 4.5*/5* potential rated players I decided to throw them in the deep end as well as bringing in a few young players to improve the squad.

    Transfers In:

    My record at Rimni

    PL24 W9 D6 L9 GD-2 PTS33

    Final League Table:

As you can see the midtable between both playoffs zones is quite small I'm confident we can get in the promotion playoffs next season.

    Players:

Francesco Morga: Top Scorer 10 in 18 when I took over he was rotting in reserves. hes my 5th best striker according to reports but when I had an injury crisis I chucked him in and he repaid me and hasnt been out of team since.

Matteo Ton: My Rock at the back consitent solid and never injured. made most apperances this season and will be named captain next season. He also made team of the year

Giovanni Novelli: I have already mentioned he broke the record as youngest player, his potential is massive and he made his 1st start in the final game of the season and ran the show. massive hopes for this lad.

Gianmarco Zigoni: My star signing but hardly played always injured (ive linked his injuries) hopefully next season he will shine

    Overview:

I did what I set out to do, I have put the club in a place to push on, when I took over they were overpaying rubbish players and now I have a young squad with massive potential to push on Playoffs is the aim next season I'll be disappointed if I dont get there.

    Table As it stands:

I think we have all but quailfied for the next round. one game to go and a point will ensure it

After losing 5 pre-season games to much better oppostion it was great to start the season with 2 wins and a draw from 3 games

    Player of the Month:

Zigoni started this season with a bang and looks like hes making up for his slow start to his Rimni career with 2 goals in 3 games

Interesting career mate, KUTGW. And if you do have any extra money lying around, please send it to Brazil. They will be put into good use.

Our unbeaten run continues to 8 games now following 3 wins and 2 draws this month

    Cup Group:

    Cup Draw:

Spezia are in the league above us so will be a tough test

    League Table:

An unbeaten start puts us in 4th place hopefully we can continue this progress

    Player of month:

Fabio Cusano: 4 games 2 goals 1 assist 2 man of the match performances and an average rating on 7.28 he has been a star this month.

    Monthly Review:

Our good start has continued the new players have gelled well with the players from last season, the young GK and CM who i started the season with have stamped their names into the team keeping out more experienced players so all is going well. hopefully we can keep this run going.

    League Table

    3rd Round cup draw

    Player of the Month

Giovanni Novelli - He came to prominance towards the end of last season after becoming the youngest player to ever play for Rimni but this month he has shown why he is the 1st name on my team sheet with solid performances. I see a future captain in him.

    Montly Review

October saw our unbeaten run come to an end, however we are still in a great league postion and into the 3rd round of the cup. I was also glad to pick up a win after 2 defeats out of 3. Hopefully November we can get back on a good run and into the playoff spots,

Nearly another unbeaten month but we are 5 unbeaten in the league
    League Table:

Postioned nicely I would like to get in the playoff spots asap and cement a postion there

    Cup:

We need Trapani to beat Pro Vercelli 1 or 2-0 on December the 11th to progress to the semi finals but we have done a great job getting this far

    Player of the month:

Simone Smacchia - Scored his first for the club then followed it up with another 3 in the next 2 league games hopefully he will continue

    Monthly Overview:

Another good month, I was disappointed we didnt wrap up the cup group and lost to pro vercelli with an 89 minute own goal but we have been on another good run i just wanna get in that playoff spot

    Final Group Table

    News Report

    Semi Final Draw

    League Table

We have got our playoff spot we just gotta hold onto it now

    Player of the Month

Francesco Morga - He's Back!! he missed the first few months of the season but 5 goals in 5 games hopefully he can keep banging them in and push us on to secure us a playoff or above place

    Monthly Review

Our 1st defeat in 12 league games was a disappointment but 6 points from 9 isnt too bad for playoff hopes
    League table

6 points clear of 7th place we need to maintain this gap

    Player of the month

Salvatore Aiello - Has made a strong centre half pairing with Captain Ton and this month he was man of the match 2 out of 3 games and scored the only goal vs Prato

    Monthly Review

As we run into the final 3rd of the season we are just where I hoped we would be, A title push would be nice but I think its abit beyond us we are 8 points behind 2nd. you never know

I always feel if I stay at a club too long without success I never get anywhere. If I miss out of playoffs I may go or give it 1 more season. Finances are down again

After a great first half to the season since the winter break we are throwing it all away, we are on a bad run and if it continues in April we will miss out on the playoffs. we have 7 games left I think we need 5 wins to grab that 6th place

We have blown it a bad second half of the season and we missed the chance to make the playoffs, a big improvement on last season but not where I want to be

    Contract Offer

I delayed the offer until the end of the season because I'm not sure what I'm gonna do, any suggestions would be welcome

    Monthly review

Another disappointing month, the 1st half of the season really raised expecations maybe unrealstically but in the end we fell short
