I mean maybe into administration because of financial difficulties.
I mean maybe into administration because of financial difficulties.
never, i just got offered job for Man City 1 1/2 yr agon in game and they can spen themselves in debt as much as they like and the owners just keep pumping money into the club to keep them in profit so the answer is unless owner changes no they will never go broke or stay in debt.
cheers,

The game is pretty rigid - so generally teams which are rich now stay that way forever.
They have not had many financial troubles, but Chelsea have become a bit of a yo-yo club in my game.
I've seen Chelsea go bankrupt on a previous FM, Abramovich left them and they were unable to cope.
Also happen for me on a career game on FM07

I've seen in other peoples game the Man City owner leave and this limited their spending.
In my game Chelsea is a midtable team with limited resources, although still secure. They also have a loan debt of a few mill.
Chelsea went into administration in 2022 in my game. They came out okay though it appears.
I love it when clubs go into administration, first thing i do is look through their players for potential signings since any reasonable offer is accepted.
^ Agree, I remember when Liverpool went into admin in fm08 and I signed Gerrard for Newcastle for £1M and Babel for £3m![]()
