FM2011 Handheld - Game crash always on 30 June 2012

Has anyone encountered game crash on 30 June 2012? I have tried to go on holidays immediately before this day either for a day, week or a month but the game still crash, that is game always shut down. I have an iPad2 and it's frustrating as I can't start the new season (2012/13 season).

Could you let me know which league(s) you have running in the game in question please?

Also, just to confirm, was this save originally created on version 2.5? The Credits screen shows the version number.

Many thanks for your quick response David. I have just finished League 1 (English league) and won promotion to Championship League (English league) with Barnet. I bought the game via iTunes couple of months ago and the version is 2.5 Universal. I have not installed any patch as I believe version 2.5 is the latest/current one. Thanks for picking this up for your investigation David

Did you have a really good season with Barnet and get far in several cup competitions?

It sounds like you have done pretty well to get to the Championship so quickly!?

Yes, I did. It looks like I have to start from scratch and then perform miserably ;-)

The problem is down to so many matches being scheduled. This is an issue that we are aware of but for now unless you can go back to an earlier point in time then I'm afraid you will have to start over.

It is advisable to back up your older saves when possible, either on your computer or by saving in to the 4 different slots sequentially. This way you would be able to go back to, say, two or three months earlier in the game and potentially avoid the problem.
