If you do not want to play friendlies just go on holiday past the match.

You have to do your contracts.

in all fair respect ive only had 3 friendlys each year so far and if i dont care about them just put the speed on very fast and they will be done in a minute

There isn't an option to have the Assistant take control of Friendly games, however, you should only be scheduled to play two or three per season.
