Welcome to Back To The Future Sponsored by Tata. This is a sign-up where a consortium made of India's most famous company Tata, and the Indian Board of Tourism, plan to take over the footballing world by sponsoring various historically notable clubs all over Europe, and take them back to the glorious peaks of their past. Aditionally, a football academy and the headquarters of the operation have been set up in Mumbai, where for the last few years the Mumbai FC club has been grooming the next greatest talents in the world.
The 14 greatest talents of this exceptional academy, any of which looks set to be the next Maradona (though that is not a given!), will be assigned to each of the clubs Tata has purchased, and have been given a 20 years contract with their respective clubs, which cannot be broken. Once this contract runs out, they will all be transfered back to Mumbai FC for a reunion on the twilight of their careers.
Let's take a look at each of these legendary clubs:
- Italy - Torino
- England - Nottingham Forest
- Germany - Bayern Monchengladbach
- Spain - Real Sociedad
- France - Stade de Reims
- Holland - Sparta Rotterdam
- Portugal - Belenenses
- Belgium - KV Mechelen
- Scotland - Aberdeen
- Hungary - Honvéd
- Sweden - IFK Goteborg
- Romania - Steaua Bucuresti
- Austria - Rapid Wien
- Serbia - Crvena Zvezda
And obviously, India's own Mumbai FC - although no academy player will be placed there as of yet. A short historical debrief of these clubs and the reason why they have been chosen will be given later on. You can perhaps already see that some clubs have been chosen for slightly different reasons, and some are more likely to become successful than others.
Each of these clubs will be given 100 million euros in the bank, the stadiums will be expanded by 25000 seats, their reputations will be given a boost of 1000 points, and their current chairmen will be made "sugar daddys". Mumbai FC will be given the same, plus world class academy and training facilities. As for the 14 Academy players, they will be all born in 1995, will be of the same nationality as their clubs (wouldn't make much sense to spend their entire careers in a foreign club), will have Current Ability set at 115 (they are potential Maradonas, remember), and Potential Ability set to -10, which means they'll peak at somewhere in-between 170 and 200 CA. Hence, they'll all become world class, but some more world class than others.

Notes:
- I have a fairly busy life and sometimes lack motivation to finish projects, so I do not promise anything regarding the future of this sign-up. Then again I also have a career spanning 12 years in the Gundo challenge, so I sometimes stick to things.
- All you need to do is post the initial sign-up form, you don't need to be involved constantly. Comments will be appreciated, though.
- The idea is to post yearly updates as to the progress of both clubs and players, and potential side effects (ex. do India become a strong nation with the Mumbai Academy being world-class?). This may change in the future.
Have fun with this sign-up. First 14 correct entries will be chosen.
