Morti666
In my Fiorentina save, currently in my third season, me Bayern and Zenit all finished level on ten points in the group stages. Bayern had better head to heads against both teams so they finish top. Me and Zenit both won a game against each other 2-0 which should cancel each other out. I have a far superior goal difference than Zenit yet I have still finished third. Can anyone explain to me why this has happened?
paperclips
Put a screen shot up. It might then go on goals scored or goals scored away.. not sure really.
RobinGoodey
It's worked out on ALL the results between all three of you - not individual head to heads. So given that you and Zenit had a 2-0 against each other, it will mean that your results against Bayern were worse than Zenit;s results against Bayern. Bongo-Bongo
When three teams finish level on points, the positions will be decided by results between all three teams. The results against the bottom team won't count towards this. If you were to draw up a mini league using just the results between yourself, Bayern and Zenit, you will probably see that you are bottom, hence your elimination
