No one from SI will give any details of when the patch is out, not even speculative dates or how many weeks. The reason for this is because if they say it may be out on this date and it's not people will start saying SI said this and that . When there is an announcement on the forums stating it's out, it will be out .

The reason why they can't give a specific date is because last minute testing can throw up new problems, so they have to fix them and that can push things back by a day or two. If they kept telling people "it'll be out on day x" and then it's not, and then again the next time, and it's not, and so on, people would be a lot more frustrated.
