Chances up - Goals per Game down

Recommended Posts

My statistics shows clearly that after updating the app the chances for both teams went up but same time the goals per game dropped down. I guess this was not intended and game results are getting more boring.

My stats for eight seasons original version and two serious seasons (first had replays) with the update:

S+ SOG+ S- SOG- S+/G S-/G Ga GpGa+

6.3 3.8 3.1 1.7 3.0 6.2 61 2.1

6.4 4.0 3.6 1.6 3.1 7.6 66 2.1

6.4 3.9 3.2 1.6 3.0 4.8 66 2.2

6.3 3.9 3.7 1.9 3.0 5.5 65 2.1

6.5 3.8 3.5 1.6 3.3 7.2 65 2.0

6.4 3.8 3.2 1.4 3.2 4.6 67 2.0

6.7 3.8 3.4 1.5 3.1 7.5 65 2.1

6.6 3.7 3.2 1.5 3.6 5.0 67 1.8

9.3 7.1 4.7 3.3 4.6 13.3 65 2.0 (Not serious - around 12 replays)

9.2 6.9 4.5 3.2 5.7 9.6 64 1.6

8.5 6.3 5.2 3.5 5.6 10.4 64 1.5

i think Marc explained in a previous post that the Shots on Goal tally now included stuff that wasn't counted originally, but still happened, so you should still get the same amount of goals, but that there would be more chances. A few people (me included) complained that there were too few chances on goal for the amount being scored - not least because you never had an idea of how the game was going.

Looking at 15 years stats now the average goal per game dropped down from around 2.1 to 1.7. Means I get for sure less goals per game accross the new update, independent from large number of shots now shown in the stats. This is fact!

Yep, I can believe it. My other post is about the entire team stopping scoring for no apparent reason. Just had yet another 0-0 draw, 18v2 chances at home. You'd accept it if the team weren't creating the chances, but when it's one-sided like this, in virtually every home game, yet you've racked up 8 draws it's somewhat disappointing.
