Players are going to lesser clubs when I can't (or am not allowed by the board) afford the agent fee. I'd like to know how they can.

Another thing. I buy a player for £2.5M and pay another 500K (for example) on player and agents fees taking the price to £3M. Why then do they think I'd give him a contract release clause of £2.5M?
because you paid £2.5m for him the agent fee doesnt come into it at all.
Exactly. Its not fair. IRL the transfer fee will reflect the agent fee too.
Have you any evidence of this? I find it almost impossible to believe that Man City sign a player for£30M, and tell us it's £30M....when they've spent £3M on an agent fee and another £1M on a player fee, bringing the total to £34M. To my knowlege we are told, and always have been, the full value of the transfer.
No we're not - we're only ever told the transfer fee minus the agent fee.
can you ellaborate on the initial post.
what club are you managing? who is the other club, what player? how far have you progressed in the game. what is your reputation compared to the other? what squad status did you offer and what are they now? are you in europe? are they?
