Are my scouts drinking too much

Just noticed my scout numbers dropping ie knowledge potential and ability scouting, anyone else noticed this before.

Yeah I believe scouts ratings can change during the game. Much like a player and their PA/CA

Yes they actually do, I remember I've once had a pretty poor scouter on a long-term deal, so I couldn't get rid of him because he demanded lots of money for the deal termination, so I've just assigned him to scout the world and never was interested in what he was doing. By the time his contract would have expired (3 or four years, can't recall it), he actually improved a lot, so I didn't had to get rid of him anymore.

I signed a scout in a non league save and the best I could get was JPA 9 JPP 8.

I remembered the stats specifically cos he seemed so good compared to the other rubish I could get,

I didnt check him for 2 seasons until his contract was up for renewal and he was JPA 6 JPP 7.

The more he scouted the worse he got????????

This wouldn't be a problem for your staff if they could join you for the summer holiday in Spain. There they could indulge themselves in red wine and conversations about the terrible season (2 wins, 35 losses) while you decide to smoke a Fat One when listening to Absolute Rave Music 110.
