i have the same problem, it was working since release day and when i last played it 2 days ago but when i tried to play it yesterday i had the same error. i have tried to re-install it twice already but it still doesnt work. i was in my 3rd season too.

So you've both done the cache, and updated DirectX?

Can you give us some more information about your PC's, please? Dxdiag reports would be useful.

My copy of FM 2011 has been working fine since November and has suddenly developed a problem. Every time I click on the name of a player to view his profile, it crashes and I receive a message saying "Football Manager 2011 11.0.0f151865 has stopped working".

Are you able to advise me on how I can fix this problem so that I can enjoy playing FM 2011 again?

Also please can you tell me how I can register FM 2009 on my laptop since the telephone number it brings up to register by phone no longer exists and my laptop has no internet access?

musical_hornet, the last patch we released for FM09 removed the need to activate so if you download and install that you will be fine.
