as Iceland manager I observed a match between HK and FH

HK at the time is 4th in the league FH is 7th... they have a great striker who scored a hat trick, and a goal keeper great on one-on-ones while HK if I put on a reserve team could cause trouble... a little biased at times

We won every game except the two we just decided to fall asleep in. As explained above the second draw was just stupid and we should have won.

Finances took a hit when the chairman decided that taking £9m was a good idea...

Transfers | Squad

Sene has gone, I feel a could have got more than the £4.9m for him but the board took over the transfer. I also made my biggest signing of my career, an 18 year old striker from Boca who looks the business!

That is all of the squad that I could fit on one screen, that shows you how big it is! You might notice how many 18 year olds and 4.5 potential players I have as well. I am building for the future in a BIG way.

I don't think I need to spend much money for about 5 seasons as long as my players don't get sold. I will need a new keeper in about 4 years other than that I have players in every position who are 24 or younger

Ah my uber striker just about every season I've had him scored at 1 goal/game for years... something needs tweaking then if the defenses are to blame to hampering your scorer

Nice! I'd get him training as an AMR or AML as well given those stats. Personally I'd go with AML as his jumping and heading along with his right footedness will make him a hell of a threat at the back post as an inside forward.

Why thank you, I am still filling it out most weeks though. I had 13002 people in the first game (capacity is just over 13,000) so hopefully another expansion will come. We also improved our training and youth facilities again.

The European Seeding still the same. However if you look at the table we should get an upgrade next year: Clicky We also improved a lot in the European standings, getting into the Knockout rounds helped a lot.

Finances | Transfers

Now over 13000 seated, we own the largest stadium in Iceland but really need to keeper succeeding in Europe.

The new transfer is an 18 year old Turkish D RC from FC Bayern II who looks the bomb.

I am new to FM and the little FM I have played has been with larger teams but i decided to start a journeyman save starting with lower league clubs, much like your Iceland club. I was just wondering how you found all these good players that you signed on Frees and the players from places like Africa. Do you look for them yourself or what?

I have 16 scouts currently, my board kindly gave my world wide scouting while I was in tier 4. When I got that I immediately scouted Brazil and Ukraine. Then gradually I have expanded the search as I got more scouts, I think the reason for me getting so many african players lies in the leagues I loaded and quite a lot come from the French colony countries.

Season 16 Review - Uravlsdeild:

League Results | Icelandic Cup Deildabikar Results | Icelandic Cup VISA-Bikar Results | Icelandic Supercup Result | European Results | League Table

Perfect season. We won everything we could have, only 3 draws all season.

I didn't take a screenshot of the European groups or the odds but basically we are 200-1 and you can see the group in the fixtures. Our great result was against Real at there place, we had far fewer shots but just seemed to get the into the net. Close range shots and keeping possession seemed to work well.

We had the league secure with 3 games left this season which was great, we had it with 4 games left due to a huge goal difference. To complete our rout of the league we got the 2 of the top 3 Golden Boots , the 2nd best player of the year the winner didn't deserve it IMHO, the 3 Young Playesr of the Year (the winner is the Boca striker who is now at Real Madrid), 7 players in Team of the Year!, the 2 best goals of the season and I won Manager of the Year!

Finances | Transfers

Now £30m in the bank again which is good for the club.

Brought more and sold fewer however the £2.5m profit that was made on my Boca striker who had been here for 6 months helped.

Key Players

1. Franklin Bastardo. He has never been upset, is currently a club legend and rightfully so. His value is also creeping up as well.

2. Blessing Salami. He is becoming better and better and is really starting to show his class. He presence at corners is also a great help.

3. Claudio Sanchez. A classy keeper, he's not the best but seems to get the job done so I'm happy with him.

Youth Players

1. Johann Hallgrimmson. Another season, another switch, this time £10.5m to Lazio.

2. Garðar Sævarsson. HE still isn't good enough to break into the first team yet. A few more years of development should help him though, he is starting to show some promise.

I feel like I have hit a brick wall with Ivory Coast, I got as far as I could but South Africa seem to have become a massive force in African football. I starting look for a new nation in August and got several offers.

I applied for loads of jobs in early November and only Peru and Uruguay got back to me. Both of the squads were not great and I didn't think I could get much higher than they were.

A perfect start to the season really. We pushed Athletico Madrid, even going ahead at there place but it wasn't too be.

We are still nice and well off though.

Another big spend, £6m on a 20 yer old German keeper who looks that he could be very helpful.

Yours is still probably smaller due to the scheduling failure that is Iceland. Currently I'm looking at 11 players on international duty some matches.. Luckily it's only 1-2 per season.

Impossible. No other word. My best chance is buy them young and train them up, hence the average squad ages of 23 (including 3 over 30's!)
