The Union of Soviet Socialist Republics (USSR), informally known as the Soviet Union or Soviet Russia, was a constitutionally socialist state that existed on the territory of most of the former Russian Empire in Eurasia between 1922 and 1991.
The Soviet Union had a single-party political system dominated by the Communist Party. Although the USSR was nominally a union of Soviet republics (of which there were 15 after 1956) with the capital in Moscow, it was in actuality a highly centralized state with a planned economy. Much of Soviet society was overseen by national security agencies such as the KGB (which was active from 1954).

This is the story of fourteen young footballers competing in the former Soviet Union states, the story of their careers and history as they move through the world hoping to bring glory to the Disunion that now exists in their homelands. One player will be representing each nation and will start out at the club closest to his home town. As they grow they will hope to become great worldwide superstars and bring some glory back to their home nations. The path is bound to be different depending on which former Soviet Republic you start in, but the questions stands, who will be victorious?

I am going to run a game with all 15 of the former Soviet Leagues as playable, and the main other leagues around the world, somewhere around my recommended player limit of 175,000. I will be adding the 14 players to clubs in the lowest playable leagues of their nations, and as they would probably have an unfair advantage no-one can choose to be Russian. The scoring for each season will be based on a Calendar Year as I will run it alongside the March to October seasons of much of the Former Soviet States. The scoring will be following the Premier League Fantasy System (Link), and as some players will play in more matches, the score will be divided by the number of possible games your player could have played in. So the total of matches played by your club in the season.

The only defender in the entire competition looks strong (Well not really) as a defender, but I would be worried about his strength, and hoping that he gets rid of the ball pretty quickly with the lay of his attributes. Estonia will be hoping that he can lead them out over their Baltic neighbours and then the rest of the Soviet Disunion.

I originally set £150 a week contracts on everyone, but in some nations 17 is considered a Youth Contract, and some nations only had Amateur/Semi Pro clubs down as far as we are and the rates changed, but everyone has a contract and we are ready to go.
