The negative responses are due to 2 things:
1) these threads pop up at full time every week, without fail. As Ty said, it was funny the first time, now, not so much.
2) SGartz wanted to wait til MotD to find out the score.

Im a United fan and have just been at the game and im being 100% serious when I say I just knew there would be a thread like this when I got home.

as i said. it is one game. if the OP had stats at the end of the season and the goals scored were massively above the average in real life in the same league then it would be something worth looking into, but as it is one single instance (and shock results happen fairly often in real life) there isn't any substance to look at the situation and see if there is an issue

Some argue that there are really only about 7 original plot lines in film/theater. While there are few original ideas, there are loads of people who are experiencing them for the first time; thus their excitement. Its hard to criticize enthusiasm.
