strange board

i just started a new game on FM07 as tottenham.

i was a couple of days in and the chairman asked for a high profile player. so i thought ok i had already offered for a good player and expected it to go through. the transfer went through a few days later after the player accepted the contract and the chairman said he was pleased i had signed a high profile player and it said this in the board room aswell.

now one day later the chairman has asked for a high profile player :S. the board room still says they are pleased i signed a high profile player.

is this strange or has it happened before?

used to happen to me all the time mate during two seasons at Real Madrid.

I thought it got fixed in the last patch for FM07, might be wrong.

i dont usually patch my games (tried once and it didnt work) but this is the first time ive seen it

maybe just a tempermental chairman then. lol The Real Chairman went out and signed new players for me when I didnt sign anyone, ended up with three world class keepers and five strikers all on indespensible!
