    Default Professional status

    I'm manager of Wexford Youths in Ireland and the club is Semi-pro.

    How can i get the club to go Pro. Asking for Professional Status is greyed out in the boardroom at the moment.

    2 ways:
    1. Keep on getting promoted, eventually they'll turn the club professional
    2. Offer players Pro contract.

    FM11 is more realistic in that players won't go pro for the same cash as they had part time; its quite expensive to go pro for any club.

    If you are already in the Irish Prem, sign some pro players, aim for the European places in this next couple of years. Then the board will turn you pro (quite possibly as the league rep. increases)
