Exclamation "The save game could not be loaded"

    Dear all

When I try to load my saved game in FM 11 I get the message: "Save game could not be loaded".

I have downloaded it from Steam for Mac, and I have played 26 hours, thus loading the save game loads of times, without having this problem before.

I can still find the save file in my User -> Documents -> Sports Interactive -> FM 11 -> Games folder, but when I try to load directly from here, I also get that message.

    Is this a know issue?

    Thanks

Did you delete, reinstall, or add anything to the game?

I've had this before (although not since FM08) and there was never a solution. One thing you could try is making a copy of the save game file, rename it and try and load that.

I didn't reinstall, delete or add anything.

I have, however, found that I can load the 'backup' save file, so I consider this problem solved.

    Thanks a bunch though :-)

How did you load the backup save file, because I have the same problem and I do not know where the backup file is?

Backup file is where your original one is just named "<your savegame name> (V02)" or something like that
