Definitely on heat again this season.![]()
Going along very nicely.
June 2045
League: Tord 1-1 Malmo FF
We started off slow and were punished for it as Malmo quickly took the lead. However we fought our way into the game and by half time Viktor Andersson (YP53) had put us level. In the 2nd half it was all us but we couldn't capitalise on our dominance and it ended up 1-1.
League: Ramlosa Sodra 0-1 Tord
We continued where we left off in the Malmo game by dominating the opposition. But yet again we struggled to finish the chances we created. That was until the 83rd min when we handed a lucky penalty which Axel Nordgren (YP71) confidently put away.

Still unbeaten so no place to complain really. Would be nice if you could open up a little bit more of a gap for comfort.
July 2045
Swedish Cup 4th Round: IK Sirius 2-0 Tord
A 2nd string side struggled to trouble a strong IK Sirius side. A 10th min goal always put us on the backfoot then their 2nd came on the counter in the 87th min as we pushed for an equaliser.
League: Tord 2-1 Atvidaberg
Luckily that defeat hasn't affected our league form. We played okay 1st half with Dejan Ohlsson (YP68) giving us the lead in the 38th min. Unfortunately we recieved a sucker punch as they equalised completely against the run of play in the 45th min. It took a strike from Kristoffer Arvidsson (YP77) in the 86th min to separate the two sides, his 1st goal in 20 hours of football
League: Orebro 0-1 Tord
Apparently the sign of great teams is that they win even when not playing well. Well we are certainly doing that this season. A pretty poor match from our perspective but we were saved by another late penalty. This time Erik Fahlman (YP74) converted it.
League: IFK Goteborg 1-1 Tord
A competent performance, definitely much improved from the last game. However Goteborg did start the better side and really could have had this game killed off in the 1st half. They eventually did score early in the 2nd half and as soon as they did we finally started to play. We battered them for the remainder of the game, Axel Nordgren (YP71) getting our equaliser a few mins from time.
League: Tord 6-1 Syrianska FC
After our last few matches this was a welcome break as we not only dominated Syrianska but we actually managed to finish our chances as well. Andreas Svensson (YP78) got us started with his 1st goal for the club just 4 mins into the match. Stefan Hedlund (YP64), Erik Fahlman (YP74) and Axel Nordgren (YP71) all scored in the 1st quarter of the match as it looked like it was going to be a complete rout. But to my dismay we let our foot off the gas after that even conceding right before half time. In the 2nd half we continued to add to the goals with Axel Nordgren (YP71) getting another and Eddie Rubin (YP72) adding a 6th right on the hour mark. Yet again we slowed down and failed to add any more to our total.
August 2045
League: Hammarby Fotboll 1-3 Tord
We had a shaky 1st half but despite this Axel Nordgren (YP71) put us ahead. As has been the custom recently we conceded right before half time. The 2nd half was a no contest though, Axel Nordgren (YP71) and Eddie Rubin (YP72) both scored to secure a good win.
League: Tord 1-0 Umea FC
A similar performance to the Syrainska match but this time we didn't have our scoring boots on. Could have quite easily had another 6 but we will have to make do with just the 1 goal, from Eddie Rubin (YP72) 10 mins into the 2nd half.
League: GAIS 1-0 Tord
Well it had to happen sometime but it shouldn't have come against one of the worse teams in the division. We got a taste of our own medicine as a late penalty was awarded against us after a pretty even match. They made no mistake and converted the penalty to secure the win and condemn us to our 1st league defeat of the season.
Champions League Best Placed Playoff: Sevilla 3-0 Tord
For some reason we were put into the Best Placed Playoff instead of the Champions 3rd Round Qualifying. If anyone knows why that is I would love to know because I just couldn't work it out. Obviously we struggled against a far superior Sevilla side. They scored twice really early on but we rallied well and only conceded another in the dying seconds of the match.
League: Tord 4-1 Helsingborg
After back to back defeats we recovered well to batter Helsingborg in a home display typical of us this season. Viktor Andersson (YP53) gave us the lead in the 1st half which was then added to by Stefan Hedlund (YP64) and a brace from Eddie Rubin (YP72). Helsingborg then got a consolation in the remaining few mins of the match
Champions League Best Placed Playoff: Tord (1) 1-2 (5) Sevilla
A fantastic performance which saw us very unlucky to lose. We deserved at least a draw for our excellent counter attacking football. Eddie Rubin (YP72) deservedly gave us the lead in the 38th min but Sevilla became one of many teams to score against us just before half time. We had a few decent chances to add to our lead in the 1st half but we didn't convert them. That Sevilla goal gave them confidence to add another early in the 2nd half. They then got a man sent off which actually hindered us as they sat back and defended more and we just couldn't break them down.
Elsewhere in Europe Malmo lost out 4-0 to sc Heerenveen in the Best Played 3rd Qualifying Round in the Champions League. They then beat Panionios home and away in the 4th Qualifying Round of the Euro Cup to make it to the groups.
IFK Goteborg had to negotiate 3 rounds of Euro Cup qualifying to make it to the groups which they did successfully. They beat Tarxien 7-0 on aggregate then they saw off CSKA Sofia 1-0 in both legs. They then scraped past Metalist on penalties after 2 goalless draws.
Syrianska FC beat Sibenek in the 3rd Qualifying Round of the Euro Cup 3-2 on aggregate before losing out to Dortmund in the 4th Round.
Helsingborg got a tough draw when they were entered in the 4th Qualifying Round. They got St Etienne who proved to be too strong for the Swedish side. They lost 5-0 on aggregate after a 2-0 and 3-0 loss.
All this means we have a whopping 3 teams (Tord, Malmo and IFK Goteborg) in the Euro Cup Group draw. Not only that Malmo and ourselves are 3rd seeds for the draw.
Best placed will be due to higher league rep in Europe![]()
This is your best chance yet to get some big points in Europe!
That's incorrect. The champions don't enter CL qualifying through Best Placed. Only those who are not the champions of their league enter that way, hence the naming Best Placed. The Champions play the Champions of other leagues in a separate knockout stage (but both lead to CL group stages).
Wow, that looks quite a bug. So both Swedish teams were placed in the best placed part of the draw? It's a bit painful as the best placed part is always much harder...For some reason we were put into the Best Placed Playoff instead of the Champions 3rd Round Qualifying. If anyone knows why that is I would love to know because I just couldn't work it out.
September 2045
League: Tord 2-0 Gefle
The scoreline flattered us as we got away with a poor performance here. Phillip Nilsson (YP70) gave us the lead after 4 mins from a penalty. That was our own clear chance we had at goal. Axel Nordgren (YP71) doubled our lead 7 mins into the 2nd half very much against the run of play.
League: IK Sirius 3-3 Tord
A quality game but we will be left wondering how we managed to let a 2 goal lead slip. Phillip Nilsson (YP70) and Eddie Rubin (YP72) gave us a 2 goal lead after just a quarter of an hour. We held this lead till the hour mark when we crumbled, conceding 3 in 20 mins. Thankfully Phillip Nilsson (YP70) grabbed an equaliser a few mins later.
Euro Cup Group C: Qarabag Agdam 0-5 Tord
A great start to our group matches. We trounced them and we completely deserved this big win. Axel Nordgren (YP71), Stefan Zhubi (YP76) and Karl Jawo (YP80) all scored in the 1st half. Kristoffer Arvidsson (YP77) and Oskar Svedberg (YP69) then added more goals in the 2nd half. We go top at least until next time.
League: Tord 4-0 Oddevold
3 goals in 10 mins late in the 1st half effectively ended the game as a contest. Eddie Rubin (YP72) bagging a double in that time and Axel Nordgren (YP71) getting the other. Phillip Nillson (YP70) added a 4th late on but we could have had even more. Oddevold barely managed even a shot against us.
League: Malmo FF 1-0 Tord
We came into the game in great goalscoring form but we just couldn't break Malmo down. Then just 9 mins from time Malmo stole the points with a well worked move ending in a fine goal.
Brilliant win in EC!
October 2045
Euro Cup Group C: Tord 2-2 Besiktas
A very winnable game in my opinion if we played well. And we started off in that manner, Axel Nordgren (YP71) giving us the lead in the 21st min. However the curse of the end of the 1st half struck us again. God knows how many we've conceded in the 40-45 min gap just before half time. This time we conceded twice to go 2-1 behind as we entered half time. In the 2nd half we continued to dominate and really should have been 4 or 5-2 up. Erik Fahlman (YP74) got us an equaliser but we really needed to win this game to have a good chance of qualifying for the knockout stages.
League: Hammarby TFF 1-2 Tord
We started off poorly against the bottom side and they deservedly took a 1st half lead. We improved in the 2nd half and goals from Kristoffer Arvidsson (YP77) and Stefan Zhubi (YP76) saw us turn it around t win 2-1.
League: Tord 2-1 AIK
We conceded after 2 mins and then got an injury in the 7th min and it looked like things just weren't going to go our way against our bogey team. We outplayed them all game but it took us 71 mins before we scored, Erik Fahlman (YP74) getting the goal. Then things got even better as Stefan Zhubi (YP76) netted 10 mins from time to give us our 1st win against AIK in 18 matches.
Euro Cup Group C: Tord 0-3 AS Monaco FC
If I thought we could get anything from the matches against Monaco I was clearly very mistaken. They destroyed us even though we were the home team. We struggled to trouble their keeper all match and in the end there was only going to be 1 winner.
League: Tord 3-0 Ramlosa Sodra
After our rivals were dropping points like crazy we just needed to win this match to secure the title for a 2nd consecutive year. We not only finished it but we did it in style. Karl Jawo (YP80) gave us a 1-0 lead going into half time which Kristoffer Arvidsson (YP77) and Dejan Ohlsson (YP68) added to in the 2nd half.
November 2045
League: Atvidaberg 3-2 Tord
We kind of lost concentration in this match having just won the title. This gave Atvidaberg a real chance of winning and they took that chance. We matched them in the 1st half, after we went behind Oskar Svedberg (YP69) quickly equalised. But they pulled away from us in the 2nd half, scoring another 2 to make it 3-1 before Axel Nordgren (YP71) got a consolation in the last few seconds of the match.
Euro Cup Group C: AS Monaco FC 5-0 Tord
Similar to the previous match against them, we are just not nearly good enough to even challenge them. That being said we didn't deserve to concede 5 maybe a 2 or 3-0 scoreline would have been fair. To qualify we need to win our next 2 games and hope Besiktas lose to Monaco, so it's not completely out the question just very unlikely.
League: Tord 2-1 Orebro
We ended in winning style but not convincing style. Eddie Rubin (YP72) scored twice, Orebro got a consolation in the 88th min but we were feeding on scraps throughout the entire match and were lucky to come away with 3 points.
End of Season Report: IK Tord, Swedish Premier Division 2045
League Table, League Graph
Squad
We breezed to the title this season, probably our easiest yet. We won the 1st 5 games and didn't lose until the 20th. We even got our 1st win against AIK in 18 attempts, thats how much we've improved. We won the league easily with 2 games to spare. Also beating our old record of 61 league goals in a season by 1 to make this our most fruitful season in front of goal.
Swedish Cup
We managed to scrape past Orebro 1-0 in extra time before succumbing to IK Sirius 2-0 in the nest round. That makes it 9 years since we last won it.
Europe
Fixtures
Well what I am going to assume was a mix up with the balls in the Champions League draw we were put in the best playoff part of the draw despite Malmo being in that part of the draw in the previous round. This meant we faced much harder opposition to get to the Groups. We predictably lost 5-1 to Sevilla on aggregate to put ourselves into the Euro Cup Groups instead. Let's hope this mix up doesn't happen again next year.
We started off extremely well in the groups as we thrashed the Azerbaijani champions 5-0 at their place before unluckily losing out 2-2 to Besiktas. After that great start we ballsed everything up with 2 heavy losses to Monaco leaving us with very slim chances of qualifying.
Reserves/U19's
Reserve League
A great season for the reserves finishing 3rd just 5 points off 1st place.
U19 League
Following in the footsteps of the senior players they won the league although we were placed in a different league to AIK this time.
Youth Players (At the Club)
Hakan Neilsen (YP47) - Only a few appearances this season, expect him to retire at the end of next season.
Erik Mansson (YP50) - Despite his age he was our 1st choice right back and he coped well. With no immediate competition for his spot let's hope he doesn't retire any time soon.
Roger Magnusson (YP52) - Back to his old self, was quality at left back and despite his poor physical attributes he proved himself useful at the other end by getting a handful of assists.
Viktor Andersson (YP53) - Still as good as ever although Andreas Svensson (YP78) is pushing for his place in the team.
Albin Carlsson (YP55) - Was better than he has been over the past few season but still not good enough to get him a starting place.
Victor Lindgren (YP62) - Played a decent amount but still wants to leave, next season may be his last as his contract runs out in 2046.
Stefan Hedlund (YP64) - Had his best season yet as he continues to improve. Was useful in front of goal with 4 goals and 6 assists.
Adam Karlsson (YP65) - Was a bit off this season but that's only compared to his own high standards.
Tommy Eriksson (YP66) - Still wants out and thats understandable as he probably won't get near the first team. Will try and sell him on before the start of next season.
Dejan Ohlsson (YP68) - Got unlucky with injuries after a fantastic last few seasons. Still recovering from 2 long term injuries he had this season. Still got 3 goals and 2 assists in his limited starts.
Oskar Svedberg (YP69) - Well this guy keeps getting better and better. His year got off to a flyer when he was called up to Sweden squad where he so far has made 9 appearances for them and even scoring once. The 1st player I am genuinely scared of a bigger club coming to poach him. So far minimal interest in him, let's keep it that way. Also won the Swedish Defender of the Year Award making him the best Swedish Defender in the World.
Phillip Nilsson (YP70) - With Dejan Ohlsson (YP68) out injured for large parts of the season this was his time to shine. And shine he did, 7 goals and 4 assists in 25 appearances was a brilliant return.
Axel Nordgren (YP71) - Another fine season, 21 more goals to add to the tally as well as 11 assists. No one has been after him yet which is strange but good at the same time.
Eddie Rubin (YP72) - A great goal return for him this season as well as a good number of assists. He has created a formidable partnership with Axel Nordgren (YP71)
Joakin Hjelm (YP73) - Slightly worse than last season but is still conceding under 1 a game in the league which is very good.
Erik Fahlman (YP74) - A decent season for the left mid as he recovered from a bad injury at the end of last season.
Stefan Zhubi (YP76) - Didn't make too many appearances but still was very effective in the ones he made.
Kristoffer Arvidsson (YP77) - He does seem to be struggling to improve which is a shame as he looked a real talent.
Andreas Svensson (YP78) - Mostly played as defensive mid and was fairly good there. Still can improve a lot.
Sebastian Rosengren (YP79) - Will only be played when Joakim Hjelm (YP73) gets injured so I hope he likes sitting on the bench.
Karl Jawo (YP80) - Already had to fight off interest from Malmo from this exciting youngster. Got a lot of promise, should make a good right mid.
Retiring Players
Magnus Kjellman (YP45)
History
Another retiring player and another legend. He made a massive 470 league appearances for us making him our most capped outfield player of all time. Will try and keep him on at the club as a coach or scout despite his poor staff attributes.
Finances - A couple of mill profit, could have been more if we were put into the right draw for the Champions League.

Euro Cup Group C: Tord 7-0 Qarabag Agdam
An incredible result which flattered a tiny bit. Everything we touched turned to goals. Oskar Svedberg (YP69) gave us the lead after 8 mins before Erik Fahlman (YP74) scored a 1st half hat trick and an own goal made it 5-0 before half time. I decided to give Magnus Kjellman (YP45) a last send off by putting him on at half time as he will retire in a few days time. He didn't do anything special in those last 45 mins but Stefan Zhubi (YP76) did score twice more to complete the thrashing. Beskitas had lost to Monaco so we were still in with a shout of qualifying.
Euro Cup Group C: Besiktas 1-0 Tord
Any sort of win would put us through but we just couldn't score. We attacked and attacked all game but couldn't break them down. The match wasn't all one sided though. They had a number of chances to score on the counter but they missed all of them. That was until the 83rd min when they scored on one of their many counter attacks to end our chances of qualification, we came so close but just missed out.
Malmo failed to qualify as well. Malmo started badly with a 4-0 loss to Galatasaray but evened it out with a 5-2 win against Ekransas. That would be their only win of the campaign though. They played exceptionally well against Leverkusen both times, narrowly losing 2-1 at home before escaping with a sensational 1-1 draw at Leverkusen. They then just lost out to Galatasaray again before getting a final day draw to Ekransas. A good campaign nonetheless for them.
IFK Goteborg went one better and managed to qualify for the knockout rounds. They managed 2 wins against Belenenses as well as a home win against sc Heerenveen which was enough for them to just about qualify.
Shame you couldnt get through the group but you put up a good fight.
Pity, that seemed one of the more managable groups.
How did Qarabag manage to qualify for the groups - they look really terrible!
Yer I really thought we could get through but the home draw to Besiktas cost us.
Yer they are terrible. They were in the Champions League Champions part of the draw. They beat BATE and Viktoria Plzen both 2-1 on aggregate and both times losing 1-0 away and winning 2-0 at home. They then went out to Maccabi Haifa 4-0 on aggregate in the Champions Playoff round which automatically put them into the Euro Groups.
Euro Cup Update
IFK Goteborg got unlucky with the draw as they got Man City in the 1st Knockout Round. They lost 4-1 at home and 3-0 at away to bring an end to their fantastic cup run.

Great season! Good to see decent form in Europe as well, thought you didn't progress. It's showing signs of improvement in Europe. I'm guessing that you will have another decent run in in Europe again, the team seems to be picking up the pace the last few seasons.
March 2046
Swedish Super Cup: Malmo FF p1-1 Tord
We started off the season well as we dominated the 1st half with Axel Nordgren (YP71) getting the goal we deserved for our play. But the 2nd half definately belonged to Malmo. They were all over us and it seemed just a matter of time before they equalised. They eventually did so with 17 mins remaining to take the game to extra time. Extra time was fairly uneventful as both teams seemed happy to take it to a shootout. Unfortunately we did an England and completely bottled it, missing 3 of our 4 penalties while Malmo missed just 1 meaning they won 3-1 in the shootout.
League: Syrianska FC 1-3 Tord
We got off to a better start in the league though as we easily saw off Syrianska. Eddie Rubin (YP72) and Axel Nordgren (YP71) scored within 3 mins of each other to give us a comfortable 2-0 lead at half time. An own goal in the 2nd half sealed the points and got us off to winning ways.
League: Tord 3-1 Umea FC
It was the Umea game last season where we failed to put away 8 or 9 easy chances and again it was the same story. Umea took the lead in the 29th min despite us having 3 or 4 good chances to take the lead. We seemed to struggle for a bit after they scored but Karl Jawo (YP80) restored our confidence with a good strike just before half time. In the 2nd half we completely outplayed them yet again and could have had another 5 or 6 instead we had to settle for just 2. Adam Karlsson (YP65) and Oskar Svedberg (YP69) showed the strikers how it was done as they both got on the scoresheet.
League: Hammarby Fotboll 1-3 Tord
Oskar Svedberg (YP69) again proved the difference as he scored twice to sink Hammarby. They got 1 back before Axel Nordgren (YP71) sealed the fate in the 2nd half with another goal.

April 2046
League: Tord 2-0 IFK Goteborg
It should have been a difficult game but Goteborg made things a lot easier for us as they gave away a penalty in the 11th min which Stefan Zhubi (YP76) converted. This also resulted in them getting a red card as well. We cruised the rest of the match with Dejan Ohlsson (YP68) finally securing the points in the 65th min.
League: Tord 0-1 IK Sirius
Our 1st league loss of the season and it wasn't a big shock as we faced big spenders IK Sirius. They had spent close to £5M in the pre season and it has shown so far. They were better than us over the course of the game but it looked like we would escape with the draw after we enetered the last 10 mins still at 0-0. But they struck very late to nick all 3 points.
League: Orebro 0-1 Tord
After that blip against IK Sirius we got right back on track with a comfortable if not exciting 1-0 win over Orebro. Kristoffer Arvidsson (YP77) scored early on but we didn't kill the game off. Thankfully Orebro weren't good enough to get a goal.
League: Tord 3-0 Helsingborg
A comfortable home win, Karl Jawo (YP80) got us on the board with a goal after 27 mins. Axel Nordgren (YP71) and Adam Karlsson (YP65) increased our advantage in the 2nd half.
League: GAIS 3-5 Tord
An absolute goalfest which didn't get off to the best of starts as we went 2-0 down inside the 1st half an hour. The 2nd goal really got us going though as Axel Nordgren (YP71) then Eddie Rubin (YP72) scored to send us level at half time. We completed the comeback just after half time as Eddie Rubin (YP72) grabbed a 2nd. I expected us to go on a score more but they immediately got back into the game through a fantastic strike. After that wake up call we finally killed the game off, Eddie Rubin (YP72) completed his hat trick and Oskar Svedberg (YP69) finished proceedings with our 5th.

Wow. Right on the back of our 5-3 victory we go and add another 6 goals to our tally. The game got off to a slow start but when it got going it really got going. Karl Jawo (YP80) gave us the lead in the 19th min but Mjallby hit back against the run of play in the 35th min to make it 1-1. From then on it was all us, they didn't even get a look in. Erik Fahlman (YP74) retook the lead for us just a few mins after their equaliser before Andreas Svensson (YP78) scored a peach of a goal just before half time. Stefan Zhubi (YP76) added a 4th before Erik Fahlman (YP74) grabbed his 2nd of the match. Then the cherry on the cake was Rickard Persson (YP81) getting his 1st goal for the club in injury time to make it 6-1.
League: AIK 2-2 Tord
The perfect (or maybe worst) time to come up against our biggest nemesis. AIK have haunted us for years but the feeling is that the tables have been turning in these past few years. Our good form got us off to a great start as Eddie Rubin (YP72) scored within a min and then he added our 2nd just a few mins from half time. Things were just going too well but that soon changed. Things went downhill after an hour when Dejan Ohlsson (YP68) saw red just mins after coming on. AIK dominated us after that and scored twice with their 2nd coming in the 88th min to deny us what, at half time, seemed to be an easy victory.
League: Tord 1-0 Atvidaberg
The AIK match seemed to take a lot out of us as we didn't perform too well in this match. It was very 50 50 but Stefan Hedlund (YP64) swung the match in our favour 4 mins into the 2nd half which saw us through to the end.
Swedish Cup 3rd Round: IFK Goteborg 2-1 Tord
A weakened team was fielded due to fixture congestion and they performed admirably in the 1st half. Eddie Rubin (YP72) got us the lead after 30 mins but Goteborg just seemed to step up a gear in the 2nd half as they eased to victory. They scored twice reasonably early on in the half to beat us 2-1.
League: Gefle 1-3 Tord
Eddie Rubin (YP72) continued his good vein of goalscoring form with another brace in this match to put us 2-0 up. Gefle got 1 back in the 85th min to set up a tense finish. But Oskar Svedberg (YP69) hit Gefle on the counter in injury time to regain our 2 goal margin.
League: Tord 2-1 Malmo FF
A brilliant win against tough opposition. Axel Nordgren (YP71) gave us the lead in the 30th min but Malmo hit back just before half time with their 1st shot of the match after being completely out of it all half time. Justice was done when Axel Nordgren (YP71) got us the winner we totally deserved late in the 2nd half.
League: Elfsborg 0-2 Tord
A fortuitous win as the game was very even but for once we were clinical and took our chances very well. Eddie Rubin (YP72) gave us the lead right before half time and Kristoffer Arvidsson (YP77) made sure if the 3 points with a late 2nd goal.
Wow you've both started in amazing form! A "Sirius" title fight this year![]()
June 2046
League: Tord 2-0 Oddevold
Just the one game in June due to the World Cup but it was a good one for us. The 1st half was poor but we picked it up in the 2nd half with goals from Phillip Nilsson (YP70) and Kristoffer Arvidsson (YP77) giving us the win. A great 1st half of the season for us as we go into what is effectively a mid season break. We have dropped just 5 points yet we are still not 1st.

July 2046
League: Tord 2-0 Syrianska FC
A 3rd consecutive 2-0 win but IK Sirius yet again matched our win to keep us down in 2nd place. It took as a while to break them down but the important thing is we did. Eddie Rubin (YP72) got our 1st in the 71st min and Rickard Persson (YP81) added a 2nd in the 88th min.
League: IFK Goteborg 4-2 Tord
Valuable points dropped especially as IK Sirius are looking almost invincicble. The 1st half ended 1-1 after 2 early goals with Goteborg scoring 1st and Eddie Rubin (YP72) equalising. But we fell apart in the 2nd half and conceded 3 in 10 mins to hand the game to our opponents. Axel Nordgren (YP71) got us a goal back in the 70th min but it was just a consolation.

Shame about the two defeats but otherwise a very strong start to the season. Sirius look to be mounting a good challenge.
Also, Snake.
I regret nothing!![]()
Keep it up, on the run in the AI normally slips up so keep the pressure!
SnakeXe's right though.
awesome! keep on mate! this is the best story ever!
Surprising how much Sirius have improved since last season, if they keep it up you may have to exceed last years winning total.
Looks like the league is getting stronger though, which is good for battling in Europe.
Yes I do think the league is improving significantly. That is shown in Europe, we had 3 in the group stages last year and could easily do the same again this year.
I just need IK Sirius to get one bad result. I have seen on countless occasions on fm of teams losing a single match and then completely collapsing after being on great form.
They've bought wisely at the start of the season but they had a good squad before that. They scored 70 league goals last season all they needed to do was improve the defence for this season and that's exactly what they've done.
August 2046
Champions League Champions 3rd Qual 1st Leg: Lech 2-1 Tord
\o/ We were put into the right bit of the draw this time. But it was like we were in the Best Placed part of the draw the way Lech outplayed us. We got a lucky break in the 13th min when Albin Carlsson (YP55) headed from a corner but Lech were all over us after that. They didn't take long to equalise before taking the lead just before half time. They were unlucky not to add to their total in the 2nd half as we defended for our lives, surrendering ourselves to a slender 1 goal defeat.
League: Umea FC 0-2 Tord
A good, easy win but a couple of bad injuries really ruined our day. Karl Jawo (YP80) out for 5-6 weeks was the worst of them. Oskar Svedberg (YP69) gave us the lead just past the half hour mark and Kristoffer Arvidsson (YP77) sealed the win on the hour with a great finish.
Champions League Champions 3rd Qual 2nd Leg: Tord (4) 3-0 (2) Lech
Well the tables have turned, we were horrific 1st leg as were Lech in this leg. After battering their goal for the whole 1st half it was an own goal which gave us the lead just a couple of mins before half time. We continued where we left off in the 2nd half with Axel Nordgren (YP71) bagging a brace to see us progress to the next round.
IFK Goteborg narrowly missed out on progressing from the Champions League Best Placed 3rd Qualifying stage as they lost out 3-1 to CSKA Moscow.
In the Euro Cup AIK had walked past Bohemians, 6-0 in the 2nd Qualifying round before seeing off Ferencvaros of Hungary just as easily. IK Sirius also beat Aktobe of Kazakhstan 5-0 on aggregate to advance to the 4th qualifying round as well.
League: Tord 4-0 Hammarby Fotboll
Another surprising good win just after a European outing. Axel Nordgren (YP71) and Eddie Rubin (YP72) showed their clinical side as they both scored twice in the 1st half as we ripped Hammarby to shreds. Unfortunately there weren't more goals in the 2nd half, lets hope they were saving it for Europe.
Champions League Champions Playoff 1st Leg: Tord 2-1 Viking
A nervy win over Viking left this tie wide open going into the 2nd leg. We looked out of sorts in the 1st half and deserved to got behind in the 33rd min. With that away goal and the way we were playing it looked like the tie could be over. Thankfully we pulled it together in the 2nd half, Adam Karlsson (YP65) equalised before Erik Fahlman (YP74) grabbed the winner 10 mins from time.
League: Tord 3-0 Orebro
The wins keep coming in the league and IK Sirius are crumbling, have now lost twice in the league in a row. The 1st half was pretty poor but we finally got things going in the 2nd half. Eddie Rubin (YP72) got the ball rolling with a goal inside the 1st min of the restart. Erik Fahlman (YP74) then made it 2-0 just a few mins later and an own goal made it 3-0.
Champions League Champions Playoff 2nd Leg: Viking (2) 1-1 (3) Tord
We played reasonably okay this match but we were lucky to win this tie overall. Viking were the slightly better team this match but we were holding our own. Then in the 68th min they scored meaning they would go through on away goals. We attacked for our lives and it paid off as Dejan Ohlsson (YP68) headed home with just 4 mins remaining. We held on to just about get ourselves into the group stages.
IK Sirius were unfortunate in drawing Catania in the Euro Cup 4th Qualifying Round. They fought valiantly but eventually lost out 5-1. IFK Goteborg also went out 5-1 on aggregate when they played Roma. AIK and Malmo FF got luckier draws with AIK thrashing Siroki Brijeg 6-1 on aggregate and Malmo snuck past Belenenses 2-1 on aggregate despite losing the home leg 1-0.
You've got a tough group there.
September 2046
League: Helsingborg 0-2 Tord
We continued to rack up the ins to pile the pressure on IK Sirius. Dejan Ohlsson (YP68) scored late in the 1st half to give us the lead. Eddie Rubin (YP72) sealed the win with a 79th min strike on the counter attack.
League: Tord 1-0 GAIS
Absolutely thrashed them but just couldn't find the net. We got lucky 15 mins from time when we were awarded a controversial penalty which Phillip Nilsson (YP70) put away. A lucky break for us as it looked for certain we wouldn't score this match.
Champions League Group D: Hoffenheim 3-0 Tord
The group was always going to be tough and I don't expect us to get a single point. I was not made to think otherwise with this performance as we easily rolled over and let Hoffenheim take all 3 points.
League: Mjallby 1-4 Tord
That makes it a 10-2 aggregate score over them this season. Things didn't get off to best of starts in this match though as Joakim Hjalm (YP73) put the ball into his own net just 8 mins in. Our quality shone through though as Oskar Svedberg (YP69) and Axel Nordgren (YP71) scored to make it 2-1 by half time. Phillip Nillson (YP70) then made it 3-1 before an own goal made it 4-1 late in the 2nd half.
League: Tord 1-1 AIK
Really should have beaten them but we will rue our missed chances. Adam Karlsson (YP65) gave us the lead 10 mins in but we should have had at least 2 or 3 more throughout the course of the game. AIK then stole a point in the 90th min from a corner to ruin our day.
October 2046
Champions League Group D: Tord 0-2 Aston Villa
We had a great chance to get something here but we blew it. After just 7 mins Aston Villa were down to 10 men as they saw red but we couldn't take advantage of this. Then we had a couple of mins of suicidal defending which cost us 2 goals and pretty much ruined our chances of getting a point or more. Then to rub it in Stefan Zhubi (YP76) missed a penalty late on.
League: Atvidaberg 1-1 Tord
We weren't at our best in this match, probably because of the disappointment of the previous match. It was a very 50-50 match, Atvidaberg struck 1st but Rickard Persson (YP81) equalised just minutes later. We had nothing in our tank in the 2nd half and Atvidaberg seemed content with the point as we played it out for a draw.
League: Tord 3-0 Gefle
A comfortable and much needed win as we were starting to let IK Sirius back into the title race. Karl Jawo (YP80) got our 1st before Kristoffer Arvidsson (YP77) came off the bench to score twice in the 2nd half.
Champions League Group D: Lyon 4-0 Tord
We capitulated almost instantly which was very disappointing. We went 3-0 down inside 11 mins but thankfully we didn't continue that way otherwise it could have got quite embarrassing. We were much improved after the poor start but the damage was already done. Lyon then made it 4-0 in the 86th mn to complete a miserable day for us.
League: Malmo FF 4-2 Tord
Another 4 conceded and again our poor start cost us. We went 3-0 down inside the 1st half an hour but we fought back well. Eddie Rubin (YP72) and Phillip Nilsson (YP70) scored goals before half time to put us right back in the tie. Despite looking promising throughout the 2nd half we just couldn't get the equaliser and eventually Malmo hit us on the counter to add a 4th and seal the win.
Next game up is away to IK Sirius. Big game
Tough going in europe. At least you've consolidated on 1st though.
Go and clinch it at Sirius!
November 2046
League: IK Sirius 2-0 Tord
A win would have seen us clinch the title but no of course we had to make things difficult for ourselves. We were much better than IK Sirius throughout the match but we failed to take our chances all game. IK Sirius struck early on to give them the lead but from then on it was all us. We pounded their goals but a mixture of good saves and poor finishing meant we had nothing to show for it. Then to add insult to injury IK Sirius scored again in the 87th min from one of their rare attacks. The league is still in our hands but we can't afford to slip up again.
League: Tord 4-3 Elfsborg
Well we so nearly got screwed over here as Elfsborg managed to score every shot they had on target. Thankfully we scored enough to make sure that wasn't a problem. We had 8 or 9 gilt edged chances to score but we missed most of them. There was only one person who seemed to be able to find the net for us and that was Rickard Persson (YP81) who got all 4 of our goals, a fantastic achievement.
IK Sirius had also slipped up against Umea by drawing 1-1 meaning we just needed to avoid defeat against Oddevold in the final game to claim a 3rd successive title.
Champions League Group D: Tord 0-4 Lyon
We just couldn't keep up with them and bar a fantastic Joakim Hjelm (YP73) performance Lyon could have had at least 8 goals.
League: Oddevold 1-3 Tord
Just a draw or better was needed to seal the title and we managed to do that as Dejan Ohlsson (YP68) seemed to take things into his own hands this game. He was absolutely fantastic, he gave us the lead in the 25th min with a fantastic solo goal after we had been pretty average up till then. Things got better when an Oddevold player saw red in the 37th min, he was given a yellow for a bad tackle but then complained to the ref far too much and got a 2nd yellow for dissent immediately after. Despite being a man down Oddevold managed to equalise with their 1st meaningful attack of the game. In the 2nd half we were much more attacking as we took the game to Oddevold. Rickard Persson (YP81) retook the lead for us in the 54th min to put the title even further in reach before Dejan Ohlsson (YP68) scored again in the dying seconds to seal the win and claim the title.
Champions League Group D: Tord 1-3 Hoffenheim
We were fantastic in the 1st half and deservedly went into the break 1-0 up thanks to a Phillip Nilsson (YP70) goal. It looked like we might actually get something from this match but the ref was having none of it. He awarded Hoffenheim 2 dubious penalties as they went on to win 3-1. Gutted, we deserved a point at least.
You cannot be Sirius!!!!
Deltablue is even joining in.
End of Season Report: IK Tord, Swedish Premier Division 2046
League Table, League Graph
Squad
We started almost immaculately as we picked up 8 wins from the 1st 9 games, the only blemish being a disappointing 1-0 home loss to IK Sirius. We continued brilliantly in the league but were match by IK Sirius all the way. IK Sirius finally started to drop points in late September/early October, they had previously looked invincible. We took full advantage of this as we went 7 points clear at one point. But we still had to face IK Sirius and Malmo away so it was still all up for grabs.
We let IK Sirius back into the title race as we lost both away matches to Malmo and IK Sirius. We were just 1 point clear with 2 games left so despite our slip ups it was still in our hands. We managed to win both our final games to win the title for a 3rd consecutive time, getting 72 points in the process, just 1 off our all time record.
Swedish Cup
Went straight out at the 1st hurdle to IFK Goteborg, lost 2-1 after taking the lead.
Europe
Fixtures
Despite being in the right half of the draw this time we still struggled. We lost 2-1 to Lech in the 1st leg of the 3rd Qualifying Round but we managed to turn it around in the 2nd leg, thumping them 3-0.
We drew Viking in the final Qualifying Round who we beat 2-1 at home after going 1-0 down. We struggled in a tough 2nd leg but managed to draw 1-1 thanks to a last gasp equaliser.
We had a tough group, Villa, Hoffenheim and Lyon which we managed to lose all games so far in.
Reserves/U19's
Reserve League
Finished dead last.
U19 League
Kept up with the Malmo up until the last few games where we slipped to 3rd.
Youth Players (At the Club)
Erik Mansson (YP50) - Has been pushed out of his regular 1st team spot but still plays a useful role.
Roger Magnusson (YP52) - Despite his age he still had a fantastic season.
Viktor Andersson (YP53) - Still playing at a high level but is starting to decline.
Albin Carlsson (YP55) - A bit part player but still was okay when he played.
Victor Lindgren (YP62) - Still refuses to sign a new contract so he is out at the end of the season.
Stefan Hedlund (YP64) - Wasn't as good as last season but he was starting on the bench much more often this season.
Adam Karlsson (YP65) - Was almost omnipresent and was consistently good. A great relief as everyone around him seemed to be dropping like flies with injuries.
Tommy Eriksson (YP66) - Only a few games played and didn't score in any of them. Is at the bottom of the pecking order for strikers now.
Dejan Ohlsson (YP68) - Had a decent season season, which got better as we went further into the season. It culminated in an excellent final day performance which saw him score the goal of the season.
Oskar Svedberg (YP69) - Another brilliant season and thankfully no big clubs are sniffing around him still. Continued as a Swedish 1st team regular.
Phillip Nilsson (YP70) - Wasn't as good as last season but still played his part.
Axel Nordgren (YP71) - Actually a bad season by his standards, he started well but lost his way in the 2nd half of the season.
Eddie Rubin (YP72) - Another good season for him, became top scorer for us this season with 17 goals.
Joakin Hjelm (YP73) - A great season for him, 13 clean sheets in the league this season.
Erik Fahlman (YP74) - Was brilliant up until September when he got injured for 5-6 months with a broken leg. We definitely struggled more without him.
Stefan Zhubi (YP76) - Was the stand out midfielder this season, a massive 18 assists.
Kristoffer Arvidsson (YP77) - Mainly came off the bench, only scored 6 goals. It looks like Rickard Persson (YP81) might overtake him as 3rd best striker in the squad.
Andreas Svensson (YP78) - Played well, mainly as right back but was one of a few who got a long term injury towards the end of the season.
Sebastian Rosengren (YP79) - Had a few chances as Joakim Hjelm (YP73) got injured a few times.
Karl Jawo (YP80) - I can see why Malmo wanted him last season, he was fantastic for us.
Rickard Persson (YP81) - Had a very good debut season, even managed to score 4 in a single game against Elfsborg.
Retiring Players
Hakan Neilsen (YP47)
History
Decided to retire at the ripe old age of 37. Just shy of the 400 league appearance mark but nevertheless an incredible player for us throughout his many seasons here.
Finances - £10M profit, a large portion of our income was from the Champions League, we got £6M just for being entered in the groups.

I hope you can get through any group stage in Europe soon! It's hard to get enough points for that.

I'd hate to think what would happen to this thread if GAIS started to challenge for the title
I honestly feel we would have a good shot at qualifying from Euro Cup Group. Champions League Group is just a little too far though.
I think I made a GAIS pun earlier in the thread - SnakeXe, p(i)uneer![]()
Regarding your finances, it seems the text is the same as the previous years. You actually made 10 mill profit.
Do you think you are improving in europe? It seemed like you might have got something from a few games with a bit of luck, needed an easier group.
Perhaps with Sirius pushing so hard it will help improve the players.
Great work winning the league again! Let's hope you can get some good results in europe.
Sorry, with the relative importance of the Sirius game (comfortable title win anyway) I couldn't resist doing a pun with John McEnroe's catchphrase.
Good going in the league. Let's hope that Europe is kinder next season.
Nice thread
This thread will have to be put on hold for a while as I have Uni exams until the 18th of May. Unfortunately Uni exams come before fm (but only just).
Damn I can't remember it, I'm sure you have plenty more though judging by your other posts
Yer sorry forgot to change that, it's fixed now.
I feel like we are definitely progressing in Europe. Champions League Groups are going to be tough for a while but we have a great chance of qualifying from the Euro Cup Groups if we are ever put in them. Also the quality of the league is on the rise as shown by Sweden's European presence these last few years. This can only have a positive effect on our youth intakes.
You're going to have to battle with SnakeXe for best puns in thread. Tough competition
Thanks guys

I have a question, do you hire staff?
I hired staff at the start and I generally keep them until they retire or until I replace them with a retiring Tord player. So far I have 8 former Tord players as staff at the club (out of about 20 staff).
I aim to get a whole set of staff who were former Tord players but until then I will plug the gaps with just regular staff.
Another cracking league title.
Are any of the Tord players that have continued on as staff decent and as a result, have they helped aid in improving players quicker? I have found that players generally come back better, and specialized based on their playing career (ie goalkeeper with poor stats during playing career comes back with 19-20 ability as a goal keeper coach) and as a result, player improve stats slightly quicker from the training.
Keep going crule...you're a legend!!!![]()
One more week until the exams are over... The wait has me antsy!
One of the greatest saves in this forum.
Out of interst, any chance of a screenie of the top three players in the world in your game? Interested in regens etc. Cheers mate.

I'm back
I definitely agree. My players were quite clearly not world class in their playing days but they are fairly decent as coaches. Still not world class coaches but substantially better than they were as players:
Niklas Svensson
Tony Thoren
Hakan Larsson
Jonas Andersson
Bojan Ohlsson
Although the other coaches I have are better than the former players but cost a lot more in wages.
Here are the top 5, I am suddenly incredibly jealous:
Rinus Koster
Dennis Scheepens
Willian
Alberto Paralta
Andres

Champions League Group D: Aston Villa 4-0 Tord
We got off to a poor start which was helped along by a few more injuries to some of our better players. After conceding 3 in the opening half an hour we rallied well and even had a few chances ourselves. We failed to score from any of them though and in the end Villa got a 4th in the 87th min to wrap up an easy victory for them and leave us rock bottom of our group. What a fantastic start to my return to fm.

Cheers mate![]()
This definitely is one of the most epic career threads of all time. No doubt.
Did you ever think about getting FM12 HRBFCrule? And what will you do when FM13 comes out later this year?
It's hard to leave a save as epic as this behind, surely?
I have bought fm12 but I have rarely played it.
Originally this save was meant to last a year but its kind of surpassed that by some way. So I've just decided to keep this save going as long as possible. I will definately buy fm13 but unless this save dies or I have actually become world dominant with Tord (very unlikely
) I won't start a new long term save.
Whenever this save ends it will be quite sad but I have this thread to look back on it![]()
It would be amazing to see how long you could last on this save.
It must already have surpassed your record long-term save, right?
I think the temptation to try out a new FM may become too much! Especially as it seems likely that FM13 will see more changes than recent versions.
Seeing you play this save makes me want to return to my FM10 Saints save to see how much further I could get with that. That save is still my record long-term save in terms of how far I got in it!
I also have the temptation at the back of my mind to do what you have done in terms of starting long-term in Sweden. I've always wanted to do a one club save in Sweden as I've heard that it is an awesome challenge coming up through the smaller leagues. I'm not sure I'd ever have the patience to do the youth only type career that you have done with this though!
I've always had the dream of trying to reach some absolutely stupid year deep into the distant future on FM. Like the longest possible save, with 100 seasons played or something!![]()
This is a sensational effort, great to see you back!
Thanks
I do try out the new FMs but I don't play a huge amount on them. They only problem I see with this save is that there seem to be a few problems with the upgrading of the youth recruitment. This seems to have been fixed in FM12 and surely can only be improved in FM13. I think I may have started this youth only challenge 1 year early as the bugs? with the youth recruitment may be seriously hindering my progress.
This save has definitely beaten my long term save record which I think was my Hampton & Richmond save in FM10 which got to about 2038.
Your FM10 saints thread was absolutely fantastic, it inspired me to do my FM10 Hampton & Richmond thread.
You really should try out Sweden, with or without using youth only. It's a great place start if you want to build up a very small club and make them the best in the world. With the dynamic league rep it really boosts the longevity of the save as not only do you have to get to the top of the domestic leagues but you then have to constantly succeed in Europe to help the league progress.
I too wish I could continue this save on for many years but computer just simply can't handle it. I really could do with a much better computer as this one is getting very slow.

Just the 1 player brought into the 1st team this year. He was pretty much a necessity with Hakan Neilsen (YP47) retiring and Victor Lindgren (YP62) leaving.

TPS 1-1 Tord
Tord 1-2 Lillestrom
Tord 1-2 Rosenborg
Carlstad Utd 2-1 Tord
It's fantastic to see how far you've managed to get with this save, especially as you're only using youth products.
Personally I'd have probably gotten bored with it after about 4 or 5 seasons!
Do you think you'll ever be able to win a European trophy doing it?
To win with just the youth system would be difficult, even at a large club like Man Utd or Barca as its difficult to produce world class players frequently enough to all play in one team. I think the most I had in any one era on FM10 was about 4-5 players in the starting line up of a champion's league winning side.
I really hope it can be done though as this save deserves that kind of fairy tale ending.. Its been epic!
March 2047
Swedish Super Cup: AIK e2-1 Tord
We got off to a poor start as AIK scored just 6 mins in. But we rallied well and actually were the better team in the 1st half. Kristoffer Arvidsson (YP77) equalised for us in the 26th min but we really should have been ahead by half time. After the interval AIK dominated as it looked like there would be only one winner in this match. It took them until the 116th min, in extra time to get the winner. That was from a controversial penalty. The penalty was unjust but AIK were the better team so deserved to win.
League: Gefle 1-2 Tord
After the disappointment of the Super Cup we started off well in the league. Oskar Svedberg (YP69) gave us the lead in the 11th min from a corner. Then in the 2nd half Phillip Nilsson (YP70) scored from the spot to put us 2-0 up. But things went downhill from there. Firstly they got a goal back and then Phillip Nilsson (YP70) missed another penalty which seemed to give them a new lease of life. During the final 1 mins we got 3 more injuries as we ended the match with 9 men and to top that off they were awarded a 97th min penalty which would see them equalise if they scored. Thankfully they didn't as our keeper pulled off a fantastic save. A big let off for us but we did deserve the 3 points.
League: Tord 1-0 Oddevold
A reasonably comfortable win but we didn't take many of our chances. Kristoffer Arvidsson (YP77) scored the only goal of the game in the 32nd min. We really should have had 3 or 4 but we were never in danger of losing the lead as Oddevold looked toothless in attack.
April 2047
League: Vasteras SK 0-2 Tord
The 1st half was a bit stale but we came into life in the 2nd. Eddie Rubin (YP72) scored a brace as we eased to victory.
League: Tord 2-1 IFK Goteborg
A fantastic performance in our 1st tough league game of the year. We destroyed Goteborg but typically we missed chance after chance thoughout the match. Rickard Persson (YP81) gave us the lead 11 mins in. We just couldn't find the net again to get that all important 2 goal cushion. Then the inevitable happened as Goteborg equalised despite being very subdued the entire match. I then went all out attack in an attempt to get the 3 points we thoroughly deserved. Luckily it paid off as substitue Axel Nordgren (YP71) came off the bench after 3 months out injured to score in the 88th min to make it 2-1.
League: Syrianska FC 1-0 Tord
A shock loss against an in form Syrianska. We should have got a point based on our display but, as always, we struggled to finish our chances and we were punished for it in the end.
League: Tord 1-1 Malmo FF
We started well in the 1st half, Stefan Zhubi (YP76) gave us the lead in the 26th min. We looked to be cruising it until the 44th min when we conceded from Malmo's 1st shot of the game. That moment completely changed the game as they came out a completely different team in the 2nd half. We were powerless as they walked past us. We somehow held onto the point which, in the end, we were lucky to get.
May 2047
League: Hammarby Fotboll 0-3 Tord
Finally a game where we took our chances. It was mainly thanks to two Oskar Svedberg (YP69) headers from set pieces as well as a goal from Eddie Rubin (YP72).
League: Atvidaberg 1-2 Tord
Oskar Svedberg (YP69) was again on target as he gave us the lead in the 1st half. We continued to dominate all game but were hit with a suckerpunch in the 74th min when Atvidaberg equalised. Luckily Axel Nordgren (YP71) was again on hand to rescue the points in the dying minutes after Atvidaberg were reduced to 10 men.
Swedish Cup 3rd Round: IFK Goteborg 1-0 Tord
It was a tough draw in the cup but we played surprisingly well considering I put out a reserve team. We held our own throughout the match but were eventually undone by a late goal.
League: Tord 4-1 IK Sirius
Resting the players for the cup game certainly seemed to do the trick as we thrashed a very good IK Sirius side. The decisive moment was in the 45th min when Phillip Nilsson (YP70) scored for us after a relatively even 1st half. From then on it was all us, Eddie Rubin (YP72) scored a 2nd half hat trick before IK Sirius got a late consolation
League: Tord 2-0 Orebro
Another home game another comfortable win. Stefan Zhubi (YP76) gave us the lead in the 18th min but we left our fans on edge until the 91st min when Rickard Persson (YP81) sealed the victory with our 2nd goal.
June 2047
League: Helsingborg 1-0 Tord
Our 4th loss of the season and 3 of them are by the 1-0 scoreline. We were punished for a poor 1st half where we failed to even test their keeper. They got the all important goal in the 42nd min and then sat back. We really pushed for an equaliser but they were too well organised and we couldn't find a way through.
League: Tord 2-0 Mjallby
Back to winning ways and in a similar style to the Orebro game a couple of matches before. Karl Jawo (YP80) gave us the lead early on before Oskar Svedberg (YP69) added a 2nd in 2nd half injury time.
League: Tord 3-0 GAIS
Our dominant 1st half display tied up the match before the 2nd half had even begun. Eddie Rubin (YP72) netted twice and Philip Nilsson (YP70) added a 3rd in the 41st min. I was expecting/hoping for more goals in the 2nd half but it wasn't to be.
League: AIK 1-1 Tord
I would have taken a draw at the start of the game but given how we played, we really should have won. We outplayed them all 1st half but couldn't find a way through. It took us until the 53rd min, when Rickard Persson (YP81) netted, to get the breakthrough. Obviously as soon as we scored AIK came out of their shell and took the game to us. Then just 4 mins from time they grabbed an undeserved equaliser.
July 2047
League: Tord 2-0 Gefle
After a poor 1st half we really came to life in the 2nd. Rickard Persson (YP81) bagged a brace to secure the win which we just about deserved.
League: Oddevold 0-4 Tord
A fantastic performance all round but especially from Rickard Persson (YP81) who, this time, netted a hat trick as we recorded our biggest win of the season. Oskar Svedberg (YP69) scored our other goal.
League: Tord 3-1 Skarhamn
A very eventful game as Philip Nilsson (YP70) scored from a penalty after just 8 mins. Then just a few momwnts later they got a penalty of their own which they missed. We punished them for missing as Eddie Rubin (YP72) made it 2-0 before Oskar Svedberg (YP69) finished off proceedings with a 3rd midway through the 2nd half. There was still time for us to concede a late consolation.
League: Tord 2-1 Vasteras SK
After an explosive start which saw Philip Nilsson (YP70) and Axel Nordgren (YP71) score within the 1st 15 mins we went off the boil a bit. This allowed Vasteras back into the game and eventually they got the inevitable goal 17 mins from full time. Thankfully they couldn't get a 2nd which they really should have got considering our shocking play after scoring 2 early goals.
