    League: Trelleborg 0-2 Tord
    Alexander Pettersson (YP61)
continued his good form with another goal. Our 2nd was an own goal but was forced from our constant pressure on the Trelleborg goal.

    U21 Euro Championship Quals Group 9: Ireland U21's 2-0 Sweden U21's
Our qualification campaign is over as we collapse to Ireland. They were the better team and deserved to win.

    U21 Euro Championship Quals Group 9: Portugal U21's 1-0 Sweden U21's
Played well as we only kept them to a single goal but thats not really a consolation as it still counts as a loss.

New year, new title, new stadium, new chance to get into the CL Group Stage.

Great season, especially winning the title at your old stadium against the number two in the league, can't really do much about being drawn against such a big club in the CL, but your players gave them a very good match away.

End of Season Report: IK Tord, Swedish Premier Division 2037

    League Table, League Graph
    Squad

We had our customary good start and despite having a bit of trouble during the latter stages of the season we managed to hold off our competitors to regain the title. We were helped by normal challengers AIK and Malmo not performing well. In the end we won the league fairly comfortably by 8 points.

    Swedish Super Cup

We got lucky to secure the 1st silverware of the season. I like to think this match coupled with the 1st league game of the season (where we beat Malmo 2-0) helped contribute to their terrible season.

    Swedish Cup

Our defence of the cup was a disaster as we fell at the 1st hurdle. After drawing 2-2 with Djurgarden we went out on our normally reliable penalties.

    Europa League

We scraped past Ujpest 2-1 over 2 legs. Should have had a lot more than that but the main importance was getting through. We were handed a tough draw in the next round of AC Milan. We lost out in the 1st leg 3-1 before an inspired 2nd leg display saw us "only" lose 1-0.

    U19's

    League

Finished 2nd, miles behind GAIS but nonetheless encouraging stuff. Included a 7-0 thrashing of Varbergs BOIS.

    Youth Players (At the Club)

Bojan Ohlsson (YP29) - Made a few appearances and was actually up to standard in them. Even got a goal despite his limited playing time.

Peter Jansson (YP33) - Much better season which saw him become Tord's outright top league goalscorer.

Hakan Larsson (YP35) - Not as many assissts as usual but still a great season for him.

Jorgen Melki (YP37) - Had a dip in form last season but is back to his best this time, also getting my player of the season award.

Niklas Svensson (YP38) - Conceded just 18 in the league this time with a massive 17 clean sheets.

Niclas Carlsson (YP39) - Was average all season, never really got going.

Erik Carlsson (YP41) - With the new stikers coming through he is slowly being pushed out of the team.

Martin Hansson (YP43) - Continued to go downhill. Got a few new midfielders coming through so shouldnt be a problem.

Joakim Dahlberg (YP44) - Didn't make an appearance but surprisingly didn't complain either.

Magnus Kjellman (YP45) - Couldn't live up to last season but still played a part this campaign.

Hakan Neilsen (YP47) - Continued to get better although injuries shortened his season considerably.

Jonas Andersson (YP49) - Started well and didn't completely peter out towards the end. Also our top scorer this season with 11.

Erik Mansson (YP50) - Another great season, got a few assists to his name as well.

Roger Magnusson (YP52) - Another defender who managed to get a few assists.

Viktor Andersson (YP53) - Our great season for him, hes finally fulfilling his potential.

Albin Carlsson (YP55) - A solid reliable defender, can't ask for much more.

Erik Johannesson (YP56) - Continues to improve, i'll give him a couple more seasons before he becomes one of our best players.

Sebastian Jeppsson (YP59) - Struggled to repeat last years heroics. Still 6 in 21 isnt bad.

Oskar Johansson (YP60) - Not brilliant but I will keep persevering with him.

Alexander Petterson (YP61) - A good season for him, ended the season in a bit of form lets hope he can take it into next season.

Victor Lindgren (YP62) - Had a few appearances and I think he did well even creating a few goals.

Olle Stenman (YP63) - Getting better, 2 or 3 seasons and he'll be 1st team standard.

Stefan Hedlund (YP64) - A decent debut season, definately something to build on in the coming seasons.

    Retiring Players

    Anton Dahlberg (YP30)

    League History

He made 369 league appearanaces and 406 appearances overall for the club in his 19 year stay. One of the greats at the club. Unfortunately he doesn't want to stay on as backroom staff so thats the last we will be seeing of him.

Finances - As predicted we made a big loss of almost £2mill. Hopefully CL football next season will be able to right that.

Really disappointing season, struggled to score even against the weakest of teams. As a result we will almost definately not qualify for the next U21 Euro Championships.

Some teams got into Europe via winning or getting to the final of a cup, here is a key:

    CL - Champions League
    EC - Euro Cup
    FA - FA Cup
    LC - League Cup
    FC - French Cup
    GC - German Cup
    IC - Italian Cup
    SC - Spanish Cup

If there is nothing next to a team's name then they got into Europe via their league position

    Galatasary

I don't have the Turkish league loaded but I can tell you how theyve done in Europe

    Champions League

    Europa League

Theyve been in Europe pretty much every season but have never won either competition. The furthest theyve got is the semi final of the Euro Cup in 2021 and got to the quarter finals of the Champions League in 2022

Still can't believe Wigan haven't been relegated since their promotion in 2005. 33 years and counting - Come On You Latics!

Great career HRBFCRULE - Looking forward to the first superstar coming through and taking the club into the CL knockouts.

Have any lower league teams in England reached the Premiership & settled in the league?

It's quite incredible actually considering they are always seem to be one of the favourites to go down

They reached the final of the FA Cup in 2016/17 which is how they qualified for Europe that year.

No lower league team has managed to settle in the Premiership but a few have reached it. Notts County being the most prominent one, they are now a yo yo club betweent he Championship and Premiership. Yeovil and Bristol Rovers both had stints in the top division but are now back in the championship.

There have been a few non league clubs working their way up as well although none have reached the premiership yet. Sutton Utd have reached the Championship and Farnbrorough and Tooting & Mitcham are both in League 1.

There are a whole host of non league teams in League 2 the most surprising being Banbury who at the moment are 1st.

I see that there's quite a few 'smaller' Swedish clubs there or there abouts in the league now which is good to see. I'm just wondering what has happened to Elfsborg as they hold a small interest of mine since playing as them on FM07/08.

    League History

They did reasonably well until 2033, lower mid table in the premiership bar 1 or 2 seasons. But since getting relegated in 2033 theyve really struggled in the 2nd tier and have only just survived relegation to the third tier on a couple of occasions.

They've had more success in the cup having won it twice: in 2013 and 2028 and have reached the semi final in 2017.

They have been entered into the Euro Cup 4 times: in 2010, 2013, 2017 and 2029. The 1st 2 times they reached the third qualifying round and the last 2 they only reached the 2nd qualifying round.

In both their Swedish Super Cup appearances they lost, 1-0 to Gefle and 3-1 to IFK Goteborg.

New stadium sounds like great news.

I've noticed Aston Villa seem wildly successful? 6 Premiership titles and 5 Champions League finals (only one won, but still)? Any obvious reason for this, like a tycoon or have they just managed their squad better than others?

HRB, liked the look of this so decided to read right through the thread and I'm only on page 3 just now. But I have a question about your early years for you.

You rejected the youth and reserve leagues to save money, but didn't you ever have problems with players leaving for bigger clubs and then you were just left with nobody for their role?

Gone a bit quiet, are you just having a rest from FM or is this the end of one of the best threads on the forum?

Don't worry it's not the end of the career. I've just been really busy recently, moving into new house for uni etc. I hope to continue this career up until fm13 so still a long way to go.

I guess that's a good enough reason to stop playing FM , what you studying at uni.

On a better note the board accepted my request to expand the stadium and improve the youth facilities:

Theyve never had a tycoon takeover so I am guessing they have just been managed much better than the other clubs.

Surprisingly none of my players have left for bigger clubs, occasionally some get unsettled by the interest in them from bigger clubs but I haven't had a bid for any player.

I don't know how theyve been doing in the league because I don't have the Scottish leagues loaded but they have had a few appearances in Europe.

They got into the Champions League once in 2035 but lost out in the 3rd qualifying round. In the Euro Cup theyve made the group stages on 3 occasions (2017/18, 2022/23, 2035/36) but have never made it further.

    March 2038

Swedish Super Cup: Tord 1-2e Umea FC
The 1st match at the new stadium didn't quite go to plan. Hakan Larsson (YP35) scored the 1st ever goal in it just before half time but Umea equalised in the 2nd half before going on to get an extra time winner.

    League: Skarhamn 0-1 Tord
We dominated the match but it looked like we were going to get nothing for our troubles until the 92nd min when Magnus Kjellman (YP45) prodded the ball home.

    League: Tord 1-0 GAIS
    Erik Johanneson (YP56)
's goal in the 32nd min secured our 1st win in the new stadium after a slightly dodgy performance. We were by no means comfortable but we managed to get all 3 points.

    League: Orebro 0-2 Tord
    Peter Jansson (YP33)
opened the scoring in the 3rd min before Olle Stenman (YP63) doubled the lead with his 1st goal for the club.

    League: Tord 1-0 Syrianska FC
A solid home performance only let down by the lack of finished chances, Peter Jansson (YP33) netted the only goal of the match early in the 2nd half.

    League: IFK Goteborg 0-1 Tord
A very dull game which had just 2 shots on target in it. Luckily one of those was our goal, Jorgen Melki (YP37) headed home from a corner in the 6th min.

    League: Tord 2-1 Atvidaberg
    Alexander Pettersson (YP61)
and Roger Magnusson (YP52) both scored in the 1st half as we dominated Atvidaberg. But we refused to finish things off in the 2nd half as Atvidaberg netted a consolation in the 92nd min. It's like we're not allowed to win by more than 1 goal.

    League: Tord 1-0 Trelleborg
A frustrating encounter as yet again we create the chances but can't finish them. Jorgen Melki (YP37)'s penalty was the deciding factor in the game.

    League: Helsingborg 0-0 Tord
It was coming, up until now we have somehow found a way to score but not this time. A lacklustre performance which deservedly got us no goals. This game was also a monumentous occasion for Peter Jansson (YP33) who has now overtaken Tony Thoren (YP5) for most league appearances in a Tord shirt (to add to his record of most appearances in all competitions in a Tord shirt), he has now managed a whopping 406 league appearances scoring 143 goals.

    League: Tord 1-1 Mjallby
After 7 straight wins we now seem to be struggling a bit. Viktor Andersson (YP53) gave us the lead halfway through the 1st half but Mjallby equalised in the 91st min. Although they should have been level early had they not missed a penalty.

    League: Malmo FF 2-0 Tord
Our slump continues, we were absolutely terrible this match and deserved to lose by more if I am totally honest.

    League: Tord 1-0 Assyriska
A much imrpoved display but the finishing is still missing. Many chances were created which is promising but only Jonas Andersson (YP49) could finish his chance.

Swedish Cup 3rd Round: AIK 1-0 Tord
Well I'm not normally confident going into a game against AIK but this time it was even worse, with 2 keepers out injured and the other on international duty with the Sweden U19's I was forced to play Roger Magnusson (YP52) in goal. To be fair to him he did exceptionally well. Conceding just the once and making numerous good saves.

    League: AIK 2-0 Tord
One keeper had come back from injury in time for this match although I was better off staying with Roger Magnusson (YP52). We were caught early in the match and while we tried to get the equaliser in the late stages they hit us on the counter to score a 2nd.

    League: Tord 1-0 IK Sirius
A very good performance against a strong team. Peter Jansson (YP33) seems to be the only on form striker this season and I use that term very loosely. He scored again to help turn around our terrible league form.

    League: Umea FC 1-2 Tord
It looked like it was going to be a 3rd league loss in 5 matches when they scored in the 6th min but goals from Sebastian Jeppsson (YP59) and Jonas Andersson (YP49) within the space of 5 mins of each other late in the 2nd half completely turned the game around.

    League: Tord 1-0 Kalmar FF
An even game that was separated by a Jorgen Melki (YP37) header from a freekick midway through the 2nd half.

    Friendly: Sweden U21's 4-1 San Marino U21's
A confident display overall whch was definately helped by our strong start to the match. Olle Stenman (YP63) and Johan Ahlstrand both scored in the opening 20 mins. Ivan Malmstrom then came off the bench to net twice in the 2nd half before they got a consolation goal in injury time.

And what rating are your facilities at the moment?

My best keeper is Niklas Svensson (YP38)

My best defensive player is Viktor Andersson (YP53)

and my best attacking player is Jonas Andersson (YP49) (well in terms of stats anyway.)

My facilities are average training facilities, excellent youth facilities+ Youth Academy and I have fairly basic youth recruitment

Champions League Champions 2nd Qual 1st Leg: Nyiregyhaza 3-3 Tord
I was expecting an easy win and it looked like I was going to get it as Jorgen Melki (YP37) and Peter Jansson (YP33) put us into a 2-0 lead. However our opposition fought it back to 2-1 before Viktor Andersson (YP53) quickly restored our 2 goal lead. They then scored twice in the last 15 mins to leave the tie wide open.

    League: Tord 1-0 Skarhamn
A scrappy win over bottom side Skarhamn, Jorgen Melki (YP37) netted a penalty for the only goal of the game.

    Champions League Champions 2nd Qual 2nd Leg: Tord (5) 2-1 (4) Nyiregyhaza
In the end we just about negotiated our way past our Hungarian opposition. Not before a scare as they took the lead early in the 2nd half. A quickfire double from Jorgen Melki (YP37) and Sebastian Jeppsson (YP59) saw us into the next round.

    League: GAIS 1-1 Tord
Not a great game for us, Tommy Eriksson (YP66) gave us the lead but Peter Jansson (YP33) and Niclas Carlsson (YP39) both got injured and then GAIS equalised.

Champions League Champions 3rd Qual 1st Leg: Tord 0-0 Bodo-Glimt
Again we had a shocker of a 1st leg, we were meant to comfortably beat them but we really struggled. Bodo-Glimt even had the better chances and really should be taking a lead into the 2nd leg.

Just read through this thread completely in the past 4 days or so. What an absolutely amazing journey, and one which i hope will keep getting better and better Fantastic patience and perseverance to get this far

It's also inspired me to almost certainly trying the same thing, most likely in sweden as well, as despite my initial hesitations of managing in sweden (being danish and all ;) ) after looking through the leagues on fm2011, there just doesnt seem to be many other nations with the same amount of manageable tiers, which is a big factor for me. Can't wait to hear how the rest of this season has gone and hopefully the tord and continuing their meteoric rise as a football club

What a great career!!!! Loved reading it!! Not sure if anyone has pointed it out, but Lyon have won the French League for every single season!!

The Swedish league is inconsistent in terms of successful teams, which makes it more interesting!!

Can't believe they didn't name the new stadium after you!!!

End of Season Report: IK Tord, Swedish Premier Division 2038

    League Table, League Graph
    Squad

We had a fantastic start to the league, notching up 7 straight wins and conceding just once. However a loss in form towards the end of April put us back into reality. We seemed to pick it up a bit during the Champions League qualifiers which helped us stay around 1st place until another blip pushed us into 2nd. Fortunately it was quite a weak year in terms of opposition so despite this we still had a good chance to win the league going into the final few games. We did all we could but lost out on goal difference.

    Swedish Super Cup

Lost out in extra time this time. Umea were the better team and deserved to win.

    Swedish Cup

Fell in the 3rd Round again as we unluckily drew AIK away from home.

    Europe

We didn't exactly have a glittering Champions League campaign as we struggled past Nyiregyhaza and Bodo-Glimt before our luck ran out against Partizan. The loss in the CL Playoff meant we went straighht into the Euro Cup group stage for the 1st time in our history. We were drawn with Rangers, Tottenham and Vitesse. Rangers and Vitesse were definately chances to get points but I didn't expect to get any from Tottenham. We narrowly lost to Rangers away, Tottenham thrashed us and we got unlucky twice against Vitesse. Will probably finish bottom but a reasonably good campaign none the less.

    U19's

    League

Finished 3rd, some way off AIK and Assyriska.

    U19 Cup

Got all the way to the final before losing 2-0 to IK Sirius.

    Youth Players (At the Club)

Peter Jansson (YP33) - Had a pretty poor season but then again so did all our strikers.

Hakan Larsson (YP35) - Was hampered by a couple of bad injuries, was really missed this seaosn as shown by our lack of goals.

Jorgen Melki (YP37) - Still playing at a high level despite his age.

Niklas Svensson (YP38) - Conceded just 17 in the league but his position will be under threat from Pierre Nilsson (YP67) in the coming seasons.

Niclas Carlsson (YP39) - Was average all season but is slowly being pushed out the team by younger players.

Erik Carlsson (YP41) - Didn't play many and I won't be renewing his contract so next season will be his last.

Martin Hansson (YP43) - Played a lot better than in previous seasons but I'm not sure he will be able to keep it up.

Joakim Dahlberg (YP44) - Didn't make an appearance and will be gone after next season.

Magnus Kjellman (YP45) - Not as good as the past few seasons but was still a handy player to have in midfield.

Hakan Neilsen (YP47) - Another injury hit season but when he played he played well.

Jonas Andersson (YP49) - Played okay, not many goals but we struggled in general for goals anyway.

Erik Mansson (YP50) - A fantastic season a good amount of assists + was a rock at the back.

Roger Magnusson (YP52) - Even better than Erik Mansson (YP50), got a few goals and some assists. Just what I like to see in a fullback.

Viktor Andersson (YP53) - Continued his good form from last season and went even better.

Albin Carlsson (YP55) - Another defender to have a brilliant season. We were lucky they all did as our strikers were badly misfiring.

Erik Johannesson (YP56) - Doing okay, was expecting more of him but I'm sure he'll come good.

Sebastian Jeppsson (YP59) - Top scorer with just 9 this season, says it all really.

Oskar Johansson (YP60) - Got a lot more game time but still struggled, may soon be out the door.

Alexander Petterson (YP61) - Was probably one of the worst players this season but he is still young so I can forgive him. However his future is in doubt after he wanted ridiculous wage demands which I am not prepared to give to someone of his potential.

Victor Lindgren (YP62) - Only made a few appearances due to the rest of our brilliant defenders.

Olle Stenman (YP63) - Getting better, will soone be ready for a starting place.

Stefan Hedlund (YP64) - Didn't build on last season at all, may be on his way if he doesn't pick it up.

Adam Karlsson (YP65) - A great prospect but will struggle to get a 1st team place, what I would do for some decent mids or strikers to come through instead of a load of defenders

Tommy Eriksson (YP66) - A poor debut season but has great potential

Pierre Nilsson (YP67) - The long term replacement for Niclas Svensson (YP38) had a good 1st season and may be 1st choice sooner than thought.

    Retiring Players

    Bojan Ohlsson (YP29)

    League History

Made 303 league appearances for the club and over 350 in all competitions. A great player for the club but he was in decline the past few years so it was probably his time to go. Have kept him on as a coach after he retired.

Finances - £2.5M profit this season, need all the money we can get so we can expand our stadium.

A really good year this year which consisted of 4 wins and a draw even if it was against poor opposition.

Even better news is the groups for next years U21 Euro Qualifiers. We were given a great draw which gives us a good chance to progress.

It could be but I thought it was what you did for the club that got you on the list

Unlucky with the title . Hope you win it this year though . Also good record with the Swedish u19's + 21's national teams . Good draw with the u21's too

    December 2038

Euro Cup Group E: Tord 0-3 Rangers
I though we had a chance in this match but 2 own goals and a 91st min strike put an end to that. Didn't deserve to win but got unlucky with the goals we conceded.

Euro Cup Group E: Tottenham 4-1 Tord
Was always goign to be a case of how many. Luckily we almost managed to score a goal which is the 1st Tottenham had conceded in the groups. 2-0 down at half time, Oskar Johansson (YP60) got 1 back but the extremely unlikely hopes of a comeback were soon dashed by 2 more Tottenham goals.

2 new youth who look pretty decent:

Anders Ceesay (YP68) (ST) - Report

Daniel Gustavsson (YP69) (DR, DC) - Report

Also my board agreed to a stadium expansion which will be ready in May and will expand the stadium by roughly 5,000 to a total of around 15k.

Hopefully the final upgrade to my youth facilities is about to be finished as well which should take them to State of the Art.

    Great stuff

Can't believe how long it's taken to get to this level, but hopefully it'll be enough to push the club on another notch.

Great news on the facilities front. Those two new youth players look brilliant, Ceesay could be your own little Rooney.

Quite excited by Ceesay, hopefully he'll turn into a reliable goalscorer as I'm really struggling for goals at the moment

    March 2039

    League: Tord 0-0 Kalmar FF
A good start to the league but we were unable to find the winning goal. Stopped our opponents from getting a single shot on target though.

    League: GAIS 2-3 Tord
Goals were flowing in this match. Tommy Eriksen (YP66) got our 1st and Anders Ceesay (YP68)'s 1st of his Tord career made it 2-0 before half time. Niclas Carlsson (YP39) continued the scoring in the 2nd half but GAIS hit back with 2 goals leading to a nervy finale in which we managed to edge out our opponents for our 1st win of the season.

    April 2039

    League: Tord 2-0 IFK Goteborg
A good win against tough opposition, Magnus Kjellman (YP45) gave us the lead 3 mins into the 2nd half and Jonas Andersson (YP49) sealed the win in the 86th min.

    League: Malmo FF 1-0 Tord
The 1st loss of the season and our 1st major test of the season. We had the better of the chances but Malmo's composure in front of goal helped them win the match.

    League: Tord 1-0 Syrianska FC
Anders Ceesay (YP68) was denied his 2nd goal of the season from a dodgy offside decision but justice was done when we grabbed the winner in the 91st min from an own goal.

    League: AIK 1-1 Tord
    Albin Carlsson (YP55)
headed us in front just before half time after an even 1st half. AIK didn't take long to level it in the 2nd half, they then pushed on for the winner but we stood our ground to gain a point.

    League: Tord 1-0 IK Sirius
A potentially difficult match turned out to be fairly easy, easier than the scoreline suggests. Anders Ceesay (YP68) netted the only goal of the game in just the 3rd min.

Nice to see that your still going even though FM12 is released. Any idea when you plan to finish?

I'm pretty sure he mentioned a couple pages back that he intended to go until FM 13 was released.

Will probably finish when FM13 comes out

    Finances

The high expenses this season is due to the stadium expansion costing £6.5M. Speaking of stadium expansions, the board have accepted another one so hopefully the stdium will be expanded at the end of the season.

    Facilities

I have also had an offer for upgrading the training facilities accepted.

It's an awesome achievement! Are you finding yourself getting bored at all? What would you say the ultimate goal is? CL?

Get that Youth Recruitment up! ;)

    League: Helsingborg 2-1 Tord
We had a poor 1st half where we conceded 2 silly goals. Anders Ceesay (YP68) got us back into the match in the 2nd half but we couldn't find an equaliser.

Swedish Cup 3rd Round: Ramlosa Sodra p1-1 Tord
We put out a weakened team but even so I expected to win it. After dominating for 2 hours we were still level. Oskar Johansson (YP60) had given us the lead in the 1st half but Ramlosa Sodra equalised midway through the 2nd. We then ballsed up the penalties, losing 4-2.

    League: Tord 2-0 Mjallby
A goalless and dire 1st half was followed by a brilliant 2nd half. Jonas Andersson (YP49) scored after just a few seconds and Olle Stenman (YP63) added a 2nd not too long after.

    League: Orebro 1-2 Tord
    Albin Carlsson (YP55)
gave us a deserved lead after 34 mins but we threw away our dominance in the 2nd half by conceding a soft goal. Luckily Viktor Andersson (YP53) was on hand to retake the lead late on in the match.

    League: Atvidaberg 0-2 Tord
We left it very late but eventually we broke down the Atvidaberg resistance. Jorgen Melki (YP37) was the man to do it with a powerful header. Viktor Andersson (YP53) then hit them on the counter to seal the win in injury time.

Not bored, just frustrated sometimes. That's partly why the updates aren't as frequent along with having to do a lot of work. Ultimate goal for the club is the CL but I would also like to try and win a World Cup with Sweden using only my youth players.

I would get the youth recruitment up but it's always been greyed out for me

Don't want to discourage you but seriously doubt you'll ever win the CL unless you can get the youth recruitment up. And that option being greyed out permanently may be an unavoidable bug...

its not a bug just unbeleivably hard to do, if he were in the epl he could get the youth recruitment up to max in about 5-6 seasons of constant cl wins. but it is possible to get a very good youth squad with state of the art training and youth. i have been following since day one and i will be here with HRB until fm13

I read somewhere that the more scouts you get in with a wider range of country knowledge helps here... Don't know if that's true but it's worth giving it a go.

Really hope you manage to keep it up, its a phenomenal journey, started one myself on the new football manager, it is so much fun when you keep bringing in youth players ive also learned how to sympathise with your previous problem of away form :P

noikeee If the league standard increases so does that. It took me ages in Iceland but I did manage to improve it, once.

I heard it was a bug too but I'm not sure if that's actually true.

Thanks, I will try it out to see if it helps, after all I do have quite a bit of wage budget to spare

    June 2039

    U21 Euro Quals Group 9: Switzerland U21's 0-1 Sweden U21's
A good start to the campaign with probably the toughest match of it as well. Anders Ceesay (YP68) got the only goal of the game in his 1st international youth match.

    Friendly: Sweden U21's 2-0 Czech Rep U21's
Struggled in the 1st half but really turned the screw in the 2nd. Jimmie Bergman and Daniel Hakansson got a goal apiece.

    League: Tord 5-3 Syrianska Kerburan
What a way to entertain the crowd in our new expanded stadium. The expansion was finally complete and 14300 fans flocked to see us, 4000 more than usual. They were in for a treat as it turned into a goalfest, not something Tord fans see too often. Things started off badly as we conceded a 4th min penalty which was converted with ease. But we quickly turned the match around, Anders Ceesay (YP68) finished well after a great through ball by Erik Johanneson (YP56). Johanneson (YP56) then put Sebastian Jeppsson (YP59) through 8 mins later, he made no mistake with the finish to make it 2-1. We conceded a sloppy goal from a corner before Albin Carlsson (YP55) scored from one of our own to make it 3-2 at half time. After halftime Olle Stenman (YP63) unleashed a thunderbolt into the top corner. But again a sloppy backpass allowed them back into the game. That was until Jorgen Melki (YP37) walked the ball into the net from an Erik Johanneson (YP56) freekick.

    League: Assyriska 1-2 Tord
Late drama got us the win after we had dominated for large periods of the game. Viktor Andersson (YP53) went on a solo run before blasting into the top corner after 70 mins. Albin Carlsson (YP55) doubled our advantage after Assyriska failed to clear their lines froma cross. They got a consolation but we held on for the 3 points.

    League: Tord 4-1 Djurgarden
Another goalfest infront of our bigger stadium making it 13 goals in 2 games, 9 of which were ours. All 5 in this match were scored within half an hour of another. Jorgen Melki (YP37) netted after just 9 mins from a corner and again in the 27th min from a cross. Anders Ceesay (YP68) got our 3rd just 5 mins later and just 3 mins after that Jonas Andersson (YP49) headed home from a brilliant cross by Erik Mansson (YP50). We conceded again from a corner but we were never going to throw away a 4 goal lead.

Great win in the new stadium! Looks like the season is promising half way in.

My computer has just crashed and I have lost all my files

I have a backup but its from mid september (irl) , just reinstalling fm11 to see how much of my save i've lost. Judging by the date of my updates it will be around 1 season's worth. Annoying but I will still continue.

It's not too bad I have to start from August 2038 again. Really gutted that i've lost my latest bunch of youth players as they were really good.

One problem i've got is that none of the logos or kits will show up. Any ideas how to fix this?

Missing a pack you've downloaded from somewhere?

Losing 1 season must be a total pain in the ass. I sometimes lose motivation when forgetting to save after an in-game week's progress, nevermind a whole season...

I take it you've redone the reload skin and use cache options?
