One thing I've been wondering about for some time now is this...when a player scores a goal we see different celebrating scenes afterwards. Sometimes the rest of the team runs along with the goal scorer and celebrates, and sometimes he just stands there all alone waving his arms in joy. Does this mean that the other players don't like him a lot and that there might be some tension within the team, or is this pure conicidence?
iirc someone once claimed that it depended on the popularity of the player among the squad and the importance of the goal. Not sure if it was true or not.
i've seen a player score a goal then go sliding on his knees to the corner flag, his team mates get half way, then give up and wander back to their half of the pitch for the restart. sometimes the players seem to join in, sometimes not. i just havent worked out any correlation yet
