I've just started a save with Arsenal and with there goalkeeper troubles decided to make my only signing a keeper. So i go in for David De Gea from At.Madrid, after havin 4-5 bids rejected ranging from 10m - 30m i decided to let my board have a go at negotiating a deal. A day later i all of a sudden had a message saying i had signed De Gea for 80m!
Has anyone else had there board do a deal and spend stupid amounts of cash like this?
I have had the opposite problem, my board wouldn't front me an extra 200K to get a player and told me we didn't need him. Mind you I only had on player in that position then a 16 year old youth player.
It's a cool new feature. I asked my Arsenal board for a keeper too. I was going for Adler and had no cash, having bought two exciting young strikers that I didn't really need, and forgetting the lack of keeper and central defender (pretty realistic, huh?!). They got the deal done - it cost 18 Mil GBP. An Arsenal transfer record, but still reasonable.
I found it,If you get your bid rejected for a player, near the option to make a new bid there is an interact with board option. You can ask for extra funds for a specific player there.I'm Man City and my chairman signed Torres for 83M
