Can not start the quick start files...

Hey everyone!

I have never experienced this problem with the CM/FM demo series before but anyway when I try to start one of the quick start files I get an error which says"The saved file can not be recovered" then I pop back to the main menu. I run this game on a macbook pro (2010) via bootcamp (windows xp home ediition) with latest drivers updated. I have the strawberry demo version. Is there any smart soul out there who knows why this happens and perhaps have an solution for me how to fix it?
