What has been the strangest takeover in any FM?
Mine has to be on FM 10 in my latest game, Blyth got taken over by some greek tycoon while in league 2 and thier reputation then became worldwide lol. They managed to sign Mancini and Juisse from Inter and Borduex. I didnt notice untill on the England screen it said that Blyth were classed as a big club, bigger than Liverpool and Chelsea.
So whats your strange take over?

that is a very strange takeover i dont think many people will be able to top it! would be great to manage Blyth and ride there success to the top of the world!

St Mirren got taken over by a Brazilian tycoon who pumped 60 million into the club.
Were competitive against the Old Firm and won a few cups but never finished higher than third in the premiership.

I had luis figo become chairmen of Inter after 2 years :S and what made it more funny a year later he pumped '86million pounds of his own money into the club to clear the debts' :S where did he get all that from haa

A Portuguese tycoon took over Alfreton Town in 2018 in my save and guided them from the Northern Premier League Premier Division to the Championship in just 8 seasons before leaving 5 years later with them established in the second tier.
An English consortium took the reins and they have been relegated to League One in 2032/3.
