SI Staff Marc Vaughan Posted April 21, 2007 SI Staff Share Posted April 21, 2007 Fog of War means that you'll only be able to see the attributes (1-20 values for various aspects of a players ability) for players who it is realistic to believe you'd know about. Thus if you'd just scouting or played against someone he'd be visible - however a player in the yugoslavian third division probably wouldn't be initially .. Hope this helps, Marc

TeeWee
Maybe a silly follow-up question, but here goes. How long does a scout "lift" the fog of war? Does is stay lifted and can you for ever afterwards accurately track the attributes of a player or does the fog of war "reassert" itself, whether by not updating the attributes in time (you get to see the values of the attributes when last scouted and not what they are right now) or replacing some attributes by the fog of war again over time?
