Does a player get more homesick in certain countries?

I know all players have an adaptability rating, but would say a Spanish player with a low rating find it easier to adapt to Italy rather than the north of England? Would an Argentine find say Naples easier than Newcastle etc? Or is it just standard that overseas is overseas regardless?

I would assume the game makes no distinction from the foreign country. Other than if the foreign country has the same language. e.g.- Brazil and Portugal, England and U.S.A., or Argentina and Spain. If they have a common language, it makes it a little easier for the player.

Other than that, It relys solely on the players' hidden adaptability stat.

thanks for the reply. I think if so thats a failing because irl obviously certain countries have more in common with each other than other ones do.

Just want to add to this.

I think more detail should be put into this IE Climate, Reputation/Type of city (obviously Manchester is a lot different than Madrid, despite being 2 large, famous cities)

I believe distance can actually play a factor, as can language of course.
