Say if I start a career in League 1 and say a team has a capacity of say 12000 and only 8000 are seated and i got them promoted does that mean before the start of season in The Championship it has to be all seated?

I know in real life you can have terraces in championship. Only in premiership you can't. Plus you have certain amount of time to get seats put in. You can start a season with incomplete seats and open them when ready but it not in club interest too as lose money. Not sure if same applies in FM though

yes, the board will close certain section of the stand if they approve upgrading the stadium
