Random Irritation

I play Football Manager in a pretty rapid way, firing through seasons with major decisions being made at a time during the week rather than just before a game. I press space to continue through pre-match screens as quickly as I can, and a few months ago I realised that before matches I now no longer get asked if I am sure I want to continue to the match. I also realised earlier that I no longer it messages asking me to confirm transfer bids.

I don't know why this is happening, I don't think I've edited any settings or anything. Any help?
