And so it begins, 20 participants have signed up and are ready to lead their team to glory. The measurements of glory will vary from team to team but in the end it boils down to if your club has done what it needed to, or have you failed the fans which adore your club and now hate you with a passion? Over the next 11 months we will see who can lead their team successfully or will they fail to live upto the boards expectations of them.

The participants and their teams are as follows:

Right Kenco is in, in place of Danimal.

The teams and their new managers are as follows

Arsenal Will be managed by...

... WBA4LIFE, who will take control of the London club in the aim of guiding them to champions league and premier league glory. The squad is young, and boasts one of, if not the best central midfielder in the world in the presence of Cesc Fabregas, but the spaniards future is up in the air with Catalan giants track his movements and already having a bid rejected. Will he stay or will he go? Only time will tell, either way the aim for the club will still be to secure the league title and a first champions league title whilst fighting off the leagues pretenders in the shape of Manchester City, Aston Villa and local rivals Tottenham hotspur.

Aston Villa Will be managed by...

... Bergtaur. Bergtaur will be tasked with guiding the club into the 4th champions league spot the fans and the owner so desperately desire. Three consecutive qualifications for the Europa League have set the club up for a Champions league challenge but can they deliver?

Birmingham City Will be managed by...

... Elnaith. The Birmingham based club enjoyed a fantastic return to the top flight last season, but the question is can they build on what they did the campaign just gone? With a new goalkeeper in Ex-Manchester United youngster Ben Foster brought in to replace the brilliant Joe Hart who has returned to his paretn club, Manchester City, and also bringing in 6ft 6" Serbain world Cup star, Nikola Zigic to add fire power to their front line can they push up the table and snatch a Europa League place, or will they suffer from the second season curse so many promoted clubs suffer from?

Blackburn Rovers Will be managed by...

... DB1. The northwest club, were once title challenges but have since fell of the track and now find themselves in constant midtable obscurity, having lost star man Roque Santa cruz a season ago to money bags Manchester City and failed to replace him can they be guided further up the table or will they continue to fall away from the upper echoloens which they were of only a few seasons ago?

Blackpool Will be managed by...

... SJ234. The new boys of the league after an amazing season in championship and a triumphant play-off campaign. But can they cut the mustard with the big boys? Can Taylor-Fletcher guide them to safety and onto greatness. We will have to wait and see but one thing is guarenteed from the seasiders, a cracking away tie.

Bolton Wanderers Will be managed by...

...Samb 95. Another club from the northwest of England, the club has flirted with relegation for many seasons now, and under several managers since Sam Allardyce left for Newcastle way back in 2007. With his departure, went key player Nicholas Anelka to Chelsea and the money recieved hasn't been wisely invested, if invested at all. They will no doubt be one of the favourites to go down this season but can Samb 95 rescue them in the coming season.

Chelsea FC Will be managed by...

...Joetheref. The current Premier league and FA Cup holders. Have a squad full of depth but with departure of Michael Ballack and Joe Cole, can they find replacements to help steer the club towards successive titles and possibly more. They have some of the world's best players in Didier Drogba, Petr Cech and John Terry and are always there or there abouts when it comes down to the end of the season.

Everton Will be managed by...

... Almondo. The merseyside club enjoyed a mixed season last time out. Starting extremely poorly but build up confidence and coming close to European football. If they can get the right start this time around, and get the same results after christmas then we may well see Everton in the champions league standings come May. They have some of the premier league's best yet most underrated players in Tim Cahill, Mikel Arteta and Luis Saha so they have quality throughout the pitch but they face problems holding onto young stars like Dan Gosling and Jack Rodwell with premier league big boys Manchester United and Manchester City circling for their next generation players.

Fulham FC Will be managed by...

... Whoopy D. Fulham enjoyed a extremely succesful european campaign last season, reaching their first european cup final in the club history, however with that success their league form suffered slightly and they didn't perform domestically as they would have wished. Can Whoopy return them to their European standings or even further. The boast one of the premier leagues best 'keepers in Mark schwarzer and have a solid spine through the team, in Brede Hangeland, Danny Murphy and Andy Johnson and Bobby Zamora.

Liverpool FC Will be managed by...

... Kenco. The merseyside club have enjoyed vast success in their long spanning history, however they are staring a poor future in the face. With last seasons dissapointing 7th place finish, a lack of trophies and the possible loss of star players like Fernando Torres, Javier Mascherano and Captain Steven Gerrard over the summer. Can Kenco lead the failing scouse club back to their rightful place amongst the leagues elites.

Manchester City Will be managed by...

...Mattfergie. The real Manchester club, will be looking to build on their 5th place finish of last term. They have the cash resources and the infrastructure which a massive clubs requires but can they change the team from being a band of individuals to a full tuned, working, single goal machine. With Carlos Tevez leading the line and Vicent Kompant, Nigel De Jong and Joe Hart aiming to keep the rear secure who can say they are not real contenders this time around. Adding players like Jerome Boateng and possibly David Silva, Marik Hamsik and the rest they are looking a sure thing for a champions league spot.

Manchester united Will be managed by...

... Chris 23 The 'other' Manchester team :). They finished second last season and didn't win anything besides that 'micky mouse' cup they don't care about. But despite their general lack of succes last term they are one of the best teams around. Many people thought the sale onf Cristiano Ronaldo and the lack of invest of that money would signal the end of Manchester United's love affair with all things silver. But it wasn't they still came close on all fronts and this season with some investment(which seems unlikely with the debts they carry.) they will most likely be there at the end of the season.

Newcastle United Will be managed by...

...Cookie 15. The Tyneside club have slowly gone down hill since that famous speech 'I'd love it if we beat them' and things just get worse the ownership of the club, the failure of Sam Allardyce, the purchase of Joey Barton, the return of 'king kev' and the ominous exit of the same man the came relegation and the battles to oust their owner and the failure to do so. But they came back up last season, after running the show back in the championship but can they survive with no cash, no decent players and no real owner.

Stoke City Will be managed by...

... Ssestig The club has taken massive strides in the last couple of season and have some amazing players and a not so secret weapon unlike many other teams. Accused by many of one track football, boring football and defeating the object of the game itself. Stoke have their enemies but equally they have their supporters. They do play some boring, one track football but it works and at the end of the day its the point which matter. They do have some good players aswell in Ryan Shawcross, Ricardo Fuller, James Beattie, Rory Delap and the rest. Can they push up the table or just settle for what they have?

Sunderland Will be managed by...

...Loojay The have performed greatly in the last couple of seasons, being far from the relegation fodder which many touted them as. They have invested vast ammounts of cash in players like Darren Bent and Craig Gordon and have seen a return like no other. Darren Bent will lead the line, but can they secure the backdoor and push up the league this season?

Tottenham Hotspur Will be managed by...

... Jack Browne the west London club will be looking for champions league success, and retaining their place in the champions league freshhold. They justly pipped Manchester City to the 4th and final spot last season and with players like Ledley King, Wilson Palsicos, Aaron Lennon, Jermaine Defoe amongst others they have a great chance of success.

West Bromwish Albion Will be managed by...

... Hrbfcrule. The baggies will be looking to avoid going straight back down to the championship, but they do have the offical title of premier league yoyo team. They will need to bring in alot of fresh faces to keep up with some of the other teams around the league and the need to do it fast.

West Ham United Will be managed by...

... Toonbalmy Another team from the London area. Apparently everyone at the club except Scott Parker are up for sale but seemingly nobody wants them so they have a squad including alot of rejects. The do have England players Matthew Upson and the laughing stock of the world cup laughing stock Robert Green. This time around avoiding relegation will be a success.

Wigan Athletic Will be managed by...

...JonoMUFC. The latics are somewhat of a surprise team, on a good day they can beat the likes of Chelsea but on a bad day...they will be hammered 9-1 of Tottenham. At home the tend to difficult to break down and look dangerous on the counterattack. The sport the legend that is Titus Bramble who has taken an unexpected turn for the good and gone from unpredictable, mistake ridden defensive clamity to defensive rock. a top half finish will be deemed an amazing success, yet relegation would be something the club is far better than.

Wolverhampton Wanderers Will be managed by...

...Uffe Johansson. Another surprise package from last season, they are hard to beat at home and are a stuborn team for anyone to over turn. With Marcus Hahnemann between the sticks, and Kevin Doyle up top they are a threat to anyone but can they supersede their final position from last season and move up the pecking order.

So Let us begin !!!

Transfer News: June 20th

Right so every player has a club, the fixtures have been drawn all that is left to happen now is for the players to return from world cup duty and the friendlies will begin. I have tried to them to match real life fixtures, however they don't due to the fact the teams can reject the approachs so that fails. So they will be as they are in game !!! Ok the first lot of transfer rumours are as follows;

Arsenal:

*Thomas Kalas to sign a 5 year contract with the west London club, after a deal worth £5m pound has been struck up between Arsenal and the 17 year old's club Sigma Olomouc, they are said to have beaten of compitition from Chelsea, Bayern Munich, Inter and AC Milan aswell alot of other big names from around Europe.

*Phil Jagielka is at the center of a £15m battle between Arsenal and Manchester United, both clubs hold Jagielka, 28 in high regard and are hoping waving £15m under the noses of Everton will convince them to sell one of their best players. The players versitility and ability to play across the back line aswell as in the middle of park is what seems to drawing the clubs into signing him.

*The Ajax player Gregory van der Wiel, 22 has been ear marked by Arsenal as a possible transfer target for the summer. The club will have to pay in the region of £10,000,000 for the Dutch sensation and will likely form part of the clubs title charge in the coming season.

*Spanish Starlet Juan Mara has reportedly revealed his desire to move to the premier league, specifically Arsenal football club. The transfer will cost in the region of £7.5m and around £45,000 in wages for the spainish international.

* Italian 'Keeper Federico Machetti looks on the verge of a move to Arsenal FC. The 'keeper would become Arsenal's number 1 due to the accident prone 'keepers already on the books at the club.

Aston Villa:

*Martin Petrov is being eyed up by Bolton and Aston Villa. Both clubs are keen on the ex-Manchester City winger who was released by the citizens at the end of last season. He would cost neither club anything as he would move on a free transfer and command wages of around £30,000 a week.

*Sebastein Frey, is currently being monitored by a host of premier league teams including Aston Villa, the 'keeper would cost around £5m for any potential suitors.

*Robbie Keane looks set to be in the center of a transfer tussle between Aston Villa, Celtic and Birmingham City. Both of the Birmingham clubs and the scottish runners-up are keen on a move for the striker who is looking for a move away from white hart lane and his current club Tottenham Hotspur. The player would cost around £10m but his wages look set to warn off the many chasing clubs, as he would demand around £70,000 a week plus bonues'.

*Villa look set to launch a £17m pound double bid for Tottenham reject wingers David Bentley and Jermaine Jenas. The fees would be £6m and £11m respectively, and wages similar to each other of around £45,000. The news comes as Martin O'neil looks to add depth to his team, as the last 2 or 3 season they have fell at the last hurdle, mainly due to lack of strength in depth.

*Carlton Cole and Aiden Mcgeady are going to subject to a double bid from Martin O'neil's Aston Villa. Both players would fit perfect into O'neil's squad, but carry hefty price tags for between £10m and £16m each. These prices would likely put off Villa in their persuit of both players and single it down to one, most properly Aiden Mcgeady

Birmingham City:

*Robbie Keane looks set to be in the center of a transfer tussle between Aston Villa, Celtic and Birmingham City. Both of the Birmingham clubs and the scottish runners-up are keen on a move for the striker who is looking for a move away from white hart lane and his current club Tottenham Hotspur. The player would cost around £10m but his wages look set to warn off the many chasing clubs, as he would demand around £70,000 a week plus bonues'.

*Paul Konchesky is subject of a bid from both West ham united and Birmingham City. The defender would be used to sure up the defence frailties of both clubs and wuld cost around £2.5m.

*Bobby Zamora is being set up for a £8m transfer to Birmingham City, the Birmingham club are looking to progress on a top half finish this season, and are looking to spend big this summer to ensure the finish closer to the Europa league spots, the club believe hardened premier league experience is what is needed rather than big foreign investments.

*Landry N'Guemo's move to Celtic has failed due to club failing to meet Nancy's valuation of the player, leaving the door open to Birmingham City. The premier league club are believed to have enquired about N'Guemo and are willing to meet the £2m pound fee which Nancy are demanding.

*Charles N'Zogbia is being touted as a prospected transfer target of Birmingham City, the Wigan Athletic player was central to the clubs survival in the premier league last season and now Birmingham are set to offer the player the chance to progress his career further up the premier league ladder.

Blackburn Rovers:

*Real Madrid star Guti is being lined up by Lancashire club, with former team-mate Michel Salgado convincing him that a move to the north of England might not be so bad. However the move is at risk, as the club is making a striker their first-choice target.

*Jong Tae-Se, the man being dubbed the Korean Rooney, is going to be subject of a bid from premier league Blackburn rovers, the club are searching high and low for a striker with some quality, to fill the gap left by the departure of Roque-Santa Cruz to Manchester City last season.

*No other news, strange but true -.-

Blackpool:

*DJ Campbell, is eyeing up a move to the premier league and new boys Blackpool. The striker helped the seasiders to promotion last-term, and is a serious target for the club. However the talks could stall over the clubs estimation of the player.

*David Nugent is being tracked by Blackpool, the player, somewhat of a journeyman at a young age is still the holder of Englands best goal to game ratio; 1 goal in 1 game. The striker would cost them £2m pound and demand around £25,000 a week.

*Manchester Citys Ben Mee is a target of Blackpool FC, the youngster was key to the youth team which won Manchester City the FA Youth Cup a couple of seasons ago and would cost around £1m, but a loan move is more likely.

*Ilan, the former West Ham United player is looking to link up with Blackpool FC. Celtic are rumoured to be interested but the player is said to prefer a return to the premier league. The brazilian will hold talks with the Blackpool club soon.

Bolton Wanderers:

*Bolton look set to beat of challenges for the signature of James Vaughan from Everton. Celtic, Rangers are amongst the chasing pack but Bolton look to have stolen the march on the £1m rated Everton Striker.

*Bolton Wanderes are thought to be keen of Ivan Klasnic, the croatian star was loan at the Reebok before the summer from Nantes and the club wish for him to return their this season.

*Martin Petrov is being eyed up by Bolton and Aston Villa. Both clubs are keen on the ex-Manchester City winger who was released by the citizens at the end of last season. He would cost neither club anything as he would move on a free transfer and command wages of around £30,000 a week.

*Nottingham Forest midfielder Chris Cohen is looking set for a move to premier league club, Bolton Wanderers, the interest stems from the totters need for striking power and Cohen is known for his eye for goal.

*Ilan has reportedly been offered a contract at Bolton, amongst a host of other premier league teams. The former West Ham star is said to have no preference in club, just that they be in the top flight.

*Tomas Kalas has apparently signed for Chelsea, Chelsea have reportedly beaten of interest from Arsenal and host of other big names for the Czech defenders signature.

*Fernando Torres will move to Liverpool after the departure of Rafa Benitez from the club. Benitez was the only thing keep Torres at the club and has absense leaves the door wide open for a move from Chelsea, however they face stiff compitition from Premier league rivals Manchester City.

*Chelsea are looking to sign Mesut Özil from Weder Bremen, the German world cup star will reportedly move to chelsea in a deal worth £21m in the summer after the world cup in south africa.

Everton:

*Martin Petrov is being eyed up by Bolton and Aston Villa. Both clubs are keen on the ex-Manchester City winger who was released by the citizens at the end of last season. He would cost neither club anything as he would move on a free transfer and command wages of around £30,000 a week.

*Charles N'Zogbia is being touted as a prospected transfer target of Everton, the Wigan Athletic player was central to the clubs survival in the premier league last season and now the Merseyside club are set to offer the player the chance to progress his career further up the premier league ladder.

* Everton will sign one of the world cup 2010 stars.... the vuvazelas, as they look set to invade Goodison park this season.

Fulham:

*Steve Sidwell looks to end his Aston Villa horror. The Englishman who moved from Chelsea after experiencing a horror show there aswell now is looking to give his career a shot of first-team action with a move to Fulham.

*Strangely that is it for Fulham.

Liverpool:

*Nedum Onouha is worried he won't make the Manchester City first team next season so has set his sights on a move, to either Sunderland or Liverpool.

No transfers for Spurs :thdn:

Despite them being a champions league team this season, i don't think they are an attractive prospect. They're aren't established in the compition, so a player won't move with the thought in the back of his mind they may not qualify the season after. Plus the club has an extremely strict wage budget, which they will not break for ANYONE. So they can't offer the wages which they massive names demand.

Manchester City have the other side of the coin, the money to offer the wages but they don't have the champions league, however with the money they do look a more secure option. On paper Manchester City are a better team, however they are a work in progress where as spurs are there right now. City are good team of great players where as spurs are a great team of good players, so don't expect much activity from the London club this season, I expect an extra defender, midfielder and striker and i think they will pick up Kjaer, Sanchez(Chile player) and Forlan, they will all add quality to the good players they have and will solve the issue of the Left wing for Spurs, imagine this for a midfeild and forward line up; RM: Lennon, CM: Modric, CM: Kranjcer, LM: Sanchez ST: Defoe ST: Forlan. They would score alot, and they have a sound backline aswell.

Haven't heard of the 2 players coming in for West Brom but Ibanez must be alright if he was at Athletico Madrid

23 caps for Spain, played whole of Euro 2008 alongside Puyol, was going to go to Real Madrid a couple of seasons again but the president changed and cancelled all transfers, since then Athletico fans have hated him for wanting to go to there rivals Real Madrid, so he hasn't had many first team games, only a handful in the last year or two.

Well he is Dutch, is a product of Feyenoord's youth academy, he is 16 and has played numerous times for the Holland under 17's and 18's. That is all i know really.

I just haven't seen him on the game and can't find him, so don't know what he'll be like, and if he's not on the game, how will he join Arsenal on it? :/

And no moves for Villa. Not looking good right now.

Another team i don't expect much activity from this summer. They could do with a new striker and maybe a centre midfielder, in terms of Strikers i don't know but midfielders they should and may move for Manchester City's Stephen Ireland, which i would encourage but wouldn't enjoy being a blue.

Gold and Sullivan do it every year, remember when they promised Ruud Van Nistelrooy? and went after Beckham?

Every year they claim to be going for these players in order to sell season tickets and gain interest, so don't be surprised if they don't buy any of these players :p

Transfer Developments:

Manchester United have dropped out of the race for Joe Cole, the club did hold talks with the players representatives this week but announced his wage demands far exceeded what the club was willing to pay. Is this a sign of Sir Alex being tough or that the club can't afford to pay the big name players?

Manchester City have been given permission by Valencia to speak with David Silva. The spanish club however stated no fee has been agreed for the player but it is in advanced discussions.
