    Default CSE World Cup Sweepstake

    CSE World Cup Sweepstake

There's no money involved, this is just a free sign up for everyone to take part in for one thing and one thing only, bragging rights! Bragging Rights Are Priceless!!!!

All you have to do is sign up and I will put you on the list. You have until 11pm (UK time) Thursday 10th of June to sign up. The draw will take place on Friday morning, I will be using a random number generator to determine who gets what team. It would be nice if we could get a number so that every team has an equal amount of users, so: 32, 64 or even 96 although that's a crazy number!

Don't bother posting a list I'll just update the opening post every now and then.

    Required Qualifications to take part:

To make sure complete randoms don't sign up, the only requirement you need is to be currently competiting in at least one sign up or challenge. So when you post that "you're in" can you please post just one sign up or challenge that you are taking part in. I've just realised that people who used to frequent here but don't take part much anymore may wish to sign up, so if this applies to you, please list a sign up or challenge you have taken part in previously.

Perhaps if we do it so we have the first 32, then have a reserve list. If we get 32 reserve's we could have two sets of 32? I think it might be possible, wasn't expecting to get nearly 32 in under 12 hours tbh.

just to make it clear the second list is not really a reserve list, we're just waiting to see if we can get another 32, if so you're all in.

In the likely scenario we don't get another 32, I'll just do another random draw to pair each extra user with a current user.

    The Nations-
    1. Algeria
    2. Argentina
    3. Australia
    4. Brazil
    5. Cameroon
    6. Chile
    7. Denmark
    8. England
    9. France
    10. Germany
    11. Ghana
    12. Greece
    13. Honduras
    14. Italy
    15. Ivory Coast
    16. Japan
    17. Mexico
    18. Netherlands
    19. New Zealand
    20. Nigeria
    21. North Korea
    22. Paraguay
    23. Portugal
    24. Serbia
    25. Slovakia

    27. South Africa
    28. South Korea
    29. Spain
    30. Switzerland
    31. Uruguay
    32. USA
So, with a 32 list of random numbers this is how we random up the National team order. So if the first number drawn is 10, Algeria will go to pnefc22 & spartans as they are tenth team. I hope this makes some sense.

Cameroon, Chile, Denmark and England. - So basically, who isn't winning?

The fifth number drawn to decide who gets Cameroon is....

    22!!!!

Cameroon has gone to - canvey!!!!!!!!

The sixth number is out the hat and Chile is to be decided this time....

    17!!!!

    Chile now belongs to - rancer890 & hamilton 162

The lucky seventh number has come out, although it's to decide who gets Denmark so it is not too lucky...

    10!!!

Denmark and Nicklas Bendtner go to - pnefc22 & spartans5!!!

Now for the big finish, who has got England....

    28!!!!

That means that the user/s who has drawn England is/are - Kenco!!

France, Germany, Ghana and the Greeks up for grabs! - So you're either going to bottle it, beat a team on penalties in the quarter finals but still probably not win, have Africa behind you but probably only reach the second round at best or potentially pull of a massive fluke and win like you did in the 2004 Euro's.

The question is, who has drawn La Francais....

    20 is the number!!!

That means France goes to - Welsh Wizard!!

With the bottlers out the way, who will draw the efficient German side....

    29 it is!!!!

Germany has been allocated to - MikaelS!!

Who will draw the unlikely African side Ghana....

3 is the number and it's not going to be too magic for this user/s....

    Ghana goes to - bluebirdsforlife

    Now next up is Greece,

Who is it that has drawn Greece....

    26!!!

That can be only one user! - weeeman27bob

Honduras, Italy, Ivory Coast and Japan

This time you're either getting a very unfancied team, the reigning Champions, a one man team (they're nothing without Eboue) & another very unfancied team. So, who are the lucky users?

Honduras are very unfancied, so who's about to get some bad news....

Whoever has number 25, I am sorry....

Honduras goes to - 5ergio & Super Lampard

Italy are the reinging Champions, certain to be one of the big contenders....

Number 7 you certainly are very lucky for this user/s....

    Italy goes to - Almondo

Ivory Coast are pretty unlikely to win, but they do have Eboue....

This is rather ironic, as number 27, Eboue's squad number at Arsenal, has drawn Ivory Coast....

Ivory Coast goes to - himan & Loojay

Now for the Japanese, they're not very fancied at all, so unlucky whoever draws them....

    It's you number 32...

    Japan goes to - Robert_296 & Fausto

If you haven't been assigned a Country yet, I bet the suspense is killing you. Well, we're half-way through the draw. So the draw masters are going to take a break. Roughly, a 7 hour break!!

Be sure to check back tomorrow morning at around 7 when the full draw will have been completed. The guys above not assigned a team yet all have the chance of getting the following:
    • Netherlands
    • Portugal
    • Spain
    • And the other no hopers!!!

    Which mate will get them?.....

North Korea, Paraguay, Portugal & Serbia

Another round where you're probably not going to win, Portugal could be a dark horse though.

North Korea, probably the worst team on paper in the competition...

    Who has got them.....

    13!!!!

It's an unlucky number and it's proven unlucky here, North Korea goes to..... dafuge!!

Next to be drawn is Paraguay, not one of the better South American teams on paper....

I wonder who has got them.....

    16!!!!!

That means Paraguay goes to..... Whoopy D!!

If you wanted a team other than Spain, Portugal would be your best bet.....

    Who's got them

    It's ...... 30!!!!

    Portugal has gone to.... hrbfcrule!!

One more team in this post to go....

It's Serbia, who has got the Serbians....

    5!!!

That means Serbia goes to.... Tomaldinho

    Spain, Switzerland, Uruguay and USA!!!

We all know who you all want!!!

But who has got the European Champions???

    It's number.... 31!!!

    Spain goes to.... magvest!!!

I'm sure the remaining 3 are pretty disappointed, but who has got the Swiss...

    It's number ......

    2!!!!

    Switzerland goes to.... FlUoReScEnTaDoLeScEnT!!

    Just Uruguay and USA left....

Who's got the South American dark horses?.....

    It's.....

    15!!!!

    Uruguay goes to.... NeoAC!!!

One number left to decide who gets USA....

    It's number 18!

USA goes to..... Cardiovascular & Northerm Lights!!!

That completes the draw, the full draw is now below:
