Default Spectacular end of season collapse

I started a new save the end of last week and took over Aston Villa, it is now closing in on the end of season one.

For the majority of the season Man Utd have been chasing Chelsea for the title with Chelsea always having a 1 to 6 point lead, that was until the 6th of Feb.

Just look at Man Utd's League form since then:

2 wins and 2 draws in 10 matches, 8 points from a possible 30. This has got to be the most spectacular collapse I have seen in my FM days. I only hope it was because they had such a hard Champions League run.

It was not caused by injury or change of manager, just a terrible run of results. They now sit 4th, 17 points behind Chelsea and 7 points from second (which is me), the best they can hope is to overhaul 3rd place Man City who are ahead on Goal Difference and hope that Arsenal do not win their game in hand by a 4 goal margin to drop them to 5th.
