Unsettled Players

I brought a Brazilian to Ireland and a few weeks later he said he was unsettled so I let him go back to Brazil for a few weeks and he came back and I played him and he said he was happy.

Then I got a message saying he was unsettled again so I let him go back to Brazil and now he is unhappy at lack of first team football and wants to leave the club

What am I ment to do? I cant play him

It happened to me also, they become unhappy with the lack of first team football while being on a leave.. it's a bug and hopefully will be fixed for FM11

I will recommend you to sell him. Or you can put him in your reserve team and wait for him to settle.

I've had this happen several times. LoA for a month didn't do any good, so I just kept them in my team. They did well for me and finally settled in after a season.

Hes the best player in my team so I dont want to leave him in the reserves.

He has since come back and I've played him in a few matches but I'm still getting the wants first team football...hopefully it stops.

He just scored his first goal too

My Brazilian defender, who forms the backbone of my defense, has been unsettled all season but so far is averaging a 7.2 after 24 starts in all competitions. As long as your players are holding up well on the pitch I wouldn't even bother sending him to the reserves.

after a season you usually get a message saying they are settled in the area so I wouldnt worry too much about it

Don't worry about it, if he is really really unsettled he will ask to leave
Otherwise he will eventually settle in
