Either stay at Brighton, or go to Man United and take Dick Lord with you. Whatever you do, you can't get rid of your Dick Lord![]()
Yes!
£69,000 per week and £51 million to spend on players. From the Championship to the top of the Premier League.
And of course Wayne Rooney!
I'd make a back-up save before saying yes though, just in case you regret your decision you can go back and continue managing Brighton.
I see you turned down Deportivo already so if its for the same reasons then your decision is already made.
Definitely take it and make a backup save...
Hoping you set your starting reputation as international footballer?
Seems fairly unlikely that they would offer the job to a League 1 manager in real life.

omg..dude awesome...thats really quick in ur 2nd season??? what did u put as ur experience?? sunday league or international?
Do yourself a favour for a longer running game. Just say no.
wowentrusted with the biggest club in the world, a £51million transfer budget, and a raft of world class players, all because you took Brighton to the coca cola championship
wow, this game is teh realiztik

What?! Are you seriously trying to compare these two? Guardiola was a Spain and Barcalona legend, god knows why they hired him, they must've got luckly, but either way he was one of the games best players and a barca boy.
Barca boy>Barca manager is one thing. Brighton manager>Manchester Utd manager is another!![]()
guys but still its nearly impossible to get an offer with a top club with sunday league experience...and hes not won any major trophies...hes defin put it on internation footballer
say no there riddled with debt and they should crash and burn!!!
Obviously you should say no as a liverpool fan.
I wouldn't manage them if they paid me £1.5mill a week and gave me 51mill to spend!!![]()
you got Brighton promoted and then you are offered the man utd job. `rolls eyes`
aye united and mexico offered me a job when i got a team promoted from lg2 lol, had international footballer on as my rep, started again on sunday league rep now as that was daft, just got Oldham promoted in my first season when my target was mid - table and im still classed as unproven so no chance at any higher jobs yet.
Take over them, and get them RELEGATED!!!!
It's the most satisfying thing you can do in FM.
OK, your screen name probably means you disagree....wait for a Man City offer, then do it???
Enjoy your dream job anyway, hope you have all the success you wish for.
Do clubs only approach you if you apply for the job or do they do so without applying?
they do so without applying, but you only get them approaches if you set rep as international footballer, if your sunday league takes a age
There are a few teams in the game that I will never accept an offer from, no matter how good they may be.
Man U is one of those teams.
Ask yourself what will give you more satisfaction: winning the title with United, or performing against the odds with Brighton? Getting Brighton into the Champions League, for example, would mean much more to me than winning it with United.
Sunday league rep takes ages to move up...
if they came knocking irl would you accept?
Everytime I have taken the bait on the Man Utd job I get a crash dump... Read into it what you will.
+ 1 on doing save the game and give it a go. I would, and I don't even support them.
I don't see the difference between starting with a top club or starting with the reputation of international footballer. It seems you will get picked up by a top club eventually anyways.
What is the difference between Sunday league footballer and automatic reputation?
It all depends what you want to get out of the game.
Some people like career games - by this I mean start with a small club and move from job to job, up the career ladder. If this is the intention of your game, then go for the Man Utd job.
Others, like myself, prefer to stay with one club and see how far you can take them. If so then, while it is tempting to take a big job if offered, is it really what you wanted from the game? After all, if you want to manage Man Utd, just start a new game with them![]()
