Greyed out players?!

im olympique lyon, my reserve team for some reason is full of greyed out players, how do i get rid of them, there is plenty of U18/19 players i can move into the reserves. please help!

Take control of the reserves and use the real players. Clearly you are either playing a small DB or sold a lot of your 17-22 year olds, so the game is trying to compensate.

The greys just fill in the empty spaces so a reserve team can be put out. Every time to move a 'real' player into the squad a grey will disappear. If you have a big youth squad, move some of them - manage it so there is a player for each position in each squad as far as possible; that way the optimum amount will get game time.
