Never asked for squad numbers

I've done a search for this, and ive seen the same problem on the FM Britain boards, but not these ones.

The last few games Ive started, I havent been asked to register squad numbers at all, and the little panel has disappeared from the squad screen. Im running 10.2 and have definitely had games on this patch that have worked properly.

I've downloaded a couple of database fixes and stuff as well, but the problem occurs even without them implemented.

This is ruining the game a bit for me, call me a saddo but I find numbers give players a bit of personality and I use them as real indicators of squad status.

Anyone having the same problem?

EDIT: This is in leagues that I know do require numbers, namely the Premier League, League One and Serie A.

What league are you managing in?

Some leagues don't require squad numbers at all and just number the starting eleven according to their position on the pitch, especially in lower divisions.

It depends on the league you are running and whether your team is professional, I have sometimes found

Should have said in my original post; I know amateur teams rarely require numbers.
