dan mnk Posted February 11, 2010 Share Posted February 11, 2010 Your probably thinking wtf! But let me explain, I have decided to emulate a ‘time-machine’ in Football Manager terms. I have holidayed many seasons in different countries and saved the game after each year. This will allow you, the fans, to download a save from 2010 or any year up to 2025, I will be looking to further the years soon, but I wanted to use 2025 as a solid base to get lots of different countries done. This post will be updated every time a new country on FM2010 gets ‘time machine’d’ and I will link you to the post which will contain the list of saves for that specific country. I hope you enjoy this feature, because it will allow you to start a new game but in the future, just by downloading a save game. It’s as simple as that….Do you want to play with all regens in the year 2025? Or just get the first season over and done with because its boring? Going to get about 7 or 8 single countries done first, and then i will make a large one. Decided this because a save game with every league loaded for 7 or 8 countries will be a huge file and make most computers go really slow, so will do two types but single countries first, hope that makes sense. DerbyTiger Posted February 12, 2010 Share Posted February 12, 2010 im not knocking this idea but why not just start a game without real players loaded. surely the only difference is that you will not have the likes of wayne rooney and ronaldo managing later in the game. plus i have found it sorts the men from the boys in fm managing terms as you literally have no idea of any good players in the game and have to start from scratch and build it up steadily, especially if you have your previous experience as semi professional and randomise what team you will be. all prejudice against teams is lost this way and i have had many great games Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

Stevenhp1987 Posted February 12, 2010 Share Posted February 12, 2010 I'm posting this so people are aware: These save-games are likely started with 10.2 (?) and therefore *some* features fixed in the patch (10.3) would be unavailable - those you need to start a new game, as starting this save-game is not a new game. I know FMPortal used to have it a couple of years ago but I thought I would remake it seeing as that's not reallly active anymore and thought it would be a nice download that is there for any fm fans if they wanted it.
