so i'm 2-0 down at half time in league cup quater final at home to liverpool.

i go for it in the team talk, tell them i want to see more from them, have faith in most of them etc.

my team (Brighton) bossed the second leg, and were putting the pressure on reina. we finally score in the 77th minute.
i go all out now, everyone forward.

in the 89th minute, we get a corner. my goalie comes forward, and in a goalmouth scuffle, the ball gets cleared to him who left foot vollies (he's very weak on his left foot according to his stats) it into the back of the net.

i am ecstatic!

in extra time my 17 y/o wonderkid scores, then my stirker scores again to seal the deal.

i've never had a goalie score before.

thank you SI for making my night so worthwhile.

ive never had a more serius reaction to a goal on fm in my life.

i jumped out my chair with fists in the air and shouted YYEEEEEEEEEESSS! a little too loudly lol

this is probably just the same complaint about late goals that everyone else has, except you are seeing it in a good light as it happened in your favour.

Haven't had that happen in FM but did have something similar happen in FIFA 07 -- down by one with only stoppage time, called my goalie forward, and he scores off the corner, not once but a second a few moments later. Then I successfully save two penalty shots with him. Game is still embedded in my memory. I was dancing around my apartment.
